Wonderful Weekend!!

Well, we've been so busy getting our house put together, that we haven't been able to stop and smell the roses :)  And needless to say, we're still working on the house!  But this weekend, we got to go camping with some people on both sides of our family, Jorgensen's and Belnap's.  We went up to the SoapStone Basin, in the Uinta's.  This is were Chris and his clan used to Snowmobile religiously!  I've never been up there this late in the season, and man oh man, it was awesome!  I can't believe all the fall colors!  It was the perfect time to be there.  All the trees were super gorgeous and full of color.  I actually had so much time to play and relax.  I hope our families had fun too!  Well, as you know, I'm a total picture person, so I couldn't even choose just a few pictures, and there are still so many, but I put a variety in, so that you could see how much fun we had :)

Carpet!!

Oh man, today was the day!  Chris and I were up until 1a.m. last night getting ready for carpet. Cleaning the walls and floors, taking out the rest of the old, putting baseboards back on, etc..etc.. I thought it would never end.  And today I spent the day watching the carpet go in.  Faster, faster, can't they work any faster?  I know....patience my child.  Anyway, the girls couldn't nap, because they were up in the hall, and the noise all day long.  I'm so happy for quiet!!  But the house doesn't echo as much now, and Bree ran all around in the Living and Family rooms sqeaking for JOY!  The girls sat on the floor, and I was so impressed!  I called mom to tell her it was done, and I just couldn't hold back the tears of total, utter, and complete JOY!  I'm so Happy:)  It's so much more than I ever imagined.  I actually got to pick everything out, and see it come to life.  Now I just need some furniture...he..he..he..  Anyway, here are a few pictures.  

I've Been Tagged!

I've been TAGGED...  Ok, the Rules are, that you list 6 quirks about yourself, and then tag 6 other people to do the same, and leave them a message to let them know.  So here goes...

#1  I have to make my bed every morning!  The sheets have to be perfectly straight or it drives me nuts.  When I get into bed at night, I want my sheets to be crisp and straight.  Chris thinks I'm crazy, but it's one of the first things I do in the morning, even before I leave the room!

#2  When I get nervous, I chew on the inside of my cheeks.  I know it's weird.  And then Chris always knows to ask me what's wrong, or what's on my mind.  

#3  I am not a procrastinator.  Infact, I have to get everything done way ahead of time.  I just have to know that I'm always prepared.  And I always pack way too many things when I go somewhere.  Like extra clothes when camping or on vacation.

#4  I'm freeky about having things clean.  I hate spills on my or my daughters clothes!  I hate cars that have a bunch of yuck on the seats or crumbs in the car.  I hate dirt under my fingernails.  

#5  Which brings me to #5, one of my favorite past times, is doing the Laundry!!  I love the Laundry.  I love the smell of the laundry soap, and everything clean.  And dish soap too :)

#6  One of my favorite foods is Ranch Dressing!  I think it should be considered one of the major food groups!  I can and do, put it on anything and everything!  I love it on Pizza, French Fries, Nachos, Potatoes, Steak, etc.. etc..  Oh, yeah, and of course on Salad too :)  I think I've got Bree hooked.  We dip our chicken nuggets in Ranch all the time.

Ok, there you have it.  I just totally need to relax!  I need a vacation!! :)

Living Room

Okay, so this house remodeling, can get a bit long, and lots of work.  But I've found the perfect Living Room furniture, and today I ordered the Curtains :)  It's starting to get exciting now.  I love putting it all back together.  My favorite part is the decorating!  Chris is working on the baseboards, and I've got a room to paint, but we're almost ready to schedule our carpet installation and then we're really on our way!  I thought I would give you a little glimps at what I've chosen.   Chris was teasing me, that I've gone old lady a bit.  But, he does like the fact that we're going to have color in the Living Room now.  I just found out that he never really liked the first set of curtains I chose, so I guess this is my shot at redemption!  I'm just glad he lets me have free reign and do the things that I like.  What a great husband!!  

Mom and Dad's 40th!

Okay family,  this is for you.  Yesterday we went to the Fish Farm to have a little family get together, and family pictures for my parents 40th Wedding Anniversary.  It was a little stressful, you know, getting a bunch of little kids to smile and look good for pictures.  We caught some great fish, although Bree cried when her and Chris caught theirs.  I think the thought of catching a fish is one thing, but the actual fish, shaking and trying to get away, was a little scary in real life :) Everyone looked great, and we got a lot of pictures taken.  I've just put a few pictures I took here, as kind of a preview of the good stuff yet to come.  Overall, we had a great time, fishing, playing, eating, and the bonfire and smores were great too.  Happy 40th Mom and Dad!  I know Bagley got a lot of great pictures for us :)

Tile :)

Well, yesterday we got Lanolium? in our basement bathroom and Laundry rooms.  And today, the tile!  It's so awesome to see some progress!!  And the tile is gorgeous :)  I just love everything about it!  I'm just happy that we're putting things back together instead of tearing them apart.  I have some painting and cleaning up to do.  Baseboards etc.. and then someday soon, the Carpet!  Yeah, I'm so ready to get things moved back in.  I want my whole house again, so we can spread out a little.  I'll keep you all posted.
