More dancing!

Every Wednesday at 4:30 is Bree's dance class.  Elle and I always take her, and sit and watch them practice their dances.  And ever since that 1st recital in December, Bree has been loving every minute of it.

Yesterday Chris got home early, and came with us.  It was fun to have him there, so he could see how much fun she has at her class!  Elle just practiced walking, and stood next to the window watching all the cars drive by :)

Swimming

Today when I got up, I asked Chris what we were going to do today.  Of course there are all the usual things that need to be done on Saturday, but I wanted to have some fun.  So we decided to take the girls swimming.  I just bought myself a new suit with some Birthday money, and I thought that if I could get us to the Pool again, it would get me there by myself.  You see, I'm going to go start swimming laps again for exercise, but haven't made it yet.

Our Lehi Aquatics Center has so many great features.  We have a Lap Pool, where you can swim laps, and they hold Water Aerobics classes.  And then the huge Swim pool that has toys, a lazy river, baby toys, and three small kid waterslides, and a huge waterslide too.  It's just total FUN if you like swimming at all.  Anyway, right off the bat, Bree and I were standing under the toys, and the huge bucket dumped right on us.  We were totally surprised.  I didn't realize where we were standing.  The huge bucket fills with water, and dumps about every minute or so.  It's a lot of water.  Bree was totally laughing afterward.  Then Bree went down the slides about 6 times. We took Elle over to the very little pool, where she sat in some toys.  Of course we walked the girls through the Lazy river and swam and played.  We let Elle sit in the shallow, and splash and have fun.

I'm so glad we took the girls swimming today.  It was so relaxing, and we had a great time. Right after we got out and were leaving, we heard that someone had an accident in the pool, and it was closed for cleaning.  Bummer!!  I'm glad it didn't affect our stay.  We loved every minute of it :)

Today was great!

Well, yesterday Adelle called, and her and Cord and the little ones had been in St. George.  They were coming home today, and would be passing by, and could they stop in.  Well, Yea totally!! Cord is my brother, and Adelle is my sister-in-law.  Anyway, I told them that I would make some dinner.  They showed up today, and it was so much fun.  Today was my actual birthday, so we had a Roast dinner, and Chris brought home a birthday cake for us!  They even sang Happy Birthday to me.  It was a blast.  The girls played, while we talked, and showed them around our newly remodeled home.  They are my first brother and sister to come see the house since we made the changes.

It was just fun to visit with my family.  We're only an hour away, but sometimes it seems like further.  With everyone's schedules, it's hard to get them down to Lehi.  Now I just need to make plans with my other siblings, so that they can all come have dinner with me :)  So Family beware, I'll be planning some time that you can all drive to Lehi and come see me!! he..he..he.. Sounds selfish, but I hope they all want to come so I can hang out with them too.  And besides, I'm a pretty good cook, and you'll all get a home cooked meal!

Turning 38!

Well, tomorrow is my birthday.  It seems to fall on the holiday about every other year.  My husband has to work, so it will be an ordinary day for us.  So we celebrated on Saturday instead.  Chris took me and the girls out to eat.  And then we went to this cute little barn that we found in November while we were staying up in Midway for our Anniversary.  I had seen some awesome decorative measuring cups, that I had really wanted.  Chris remembered and said that we could go get them for my birthday.  I just happened to find some cute little plates too :)  I LOVE decorating the house!  Just the weekend before, when we were at my mom's, she had sent me home with a wrapped present, knowing that she wouldn't see me on my birthday. Well, I opened it this weekend too.  I just couldn't wait!!  She found a cute table lamp, that matches the new curtains in my living room as if they had come together.  Wow, how did she find it?  And the fact that we needed more light in that room, just makes it even more perfect! Thanks mom!!  And I can't forget to tell you, that Chris' sister Maurene sent me a birthday card in the mail, with a little spending money.  She never forgets my birthday.  Thanks Maurene!!  I always feel like such a Queen on my birthday.  I'm always remembered!  But I can't believe I'm turning 38.  I feel more like 28 :) he..he.. So here is a glimps of my cute little birthday presents.

Playing with blocks

Well, the holidays are over, but we have lots of fun toys to play with that Santa brought.  Elle loves her blocks.  She has fun knocking down the things we all build for her :)

Last week Chris and I taught Bree's Sunbeam class for the 1st time.  All the kids are just so cute and sweet.  It was a lot of fun to have our family together for all 3 hours of church.  I think we're going to have a lot of fun with this calling.

All the holiday stuff is cleaned up.  I'm just having fun spending time playing each day with the girls.  I have been feeling so greatful to have this time to enjoy my babies!  We miss Chris.  He had a lot of time off over the holidays, and now he's back to work.  We wish he was home more often, and can't wait for the spring and summer, when we'll go on our family vacations together.

We have so much snow!!  The piles are almost as tall as I am.  It's been hard to keep our large driveway cleared.  I think a Snowblower is definitely in our future!  Maybe next year :)
