School Pictures 2012/13

I can't believe how time flies!  And it's that time again for school pictures.

So when I had asked Bree how picture day went, she informed me, that they let her go to recess before they took her pictures.  What?  I was kind of furious.  Why bother doing a kids hair, if they are going to let them play outdoors before the pictures are taken?  Anyway, I think her sweet smile made up for any bad hair day she could have had, and I am happy with her pictures just the same!  I LOVE school pictures!  And I just can't believe how my girls are getting so big :)  P.S.  Since Elle is 1 month shy of turning 5, we'll call them her 5 year old pics...

First Snow Day of the year!

These first two pictures I thought were so cute.  I had bundled Ruby up, to take Elle to school one morning, only to find out that the Truck wouldn't start.  So, we ended up staying home.  But Ruby had her hat on, and was bundled in blankets.  Yeah, there were more blankets, than baby in her car seat!

Doing what we can...

Ruby has been the best baby!  She never really cries.  She just gets fussy when her diaper is dirty, or it's time to eat.  I was thinking the other day about how tiny she is right now, and how it won't last long, so I took a picture of her next to her Premee diapers and a pack of baby wipes.  Just to have something to measure her against.

I brought home the movie Madagascar 3 the other day.  It came with a wig.  We had a lot of fun watching the movie, it's really good.  And a lot of fun playing with the wig!  We call Elle our Curly Girl, because of her curly hair.  So I told the girls, that now I had two Curly girls :)  And Daddy even tried the wig on too!  ha..ha..

Today I was going to take the girls to buy some pumpkins.  I am still on my Blood Pressure medication, from my whole delivery etc...  After taking my medication this morning, I almost passed out in the shower.  My blood pressure was so low!  I need to be weened off of the medication, now that my body is getting back to normal.  It was a bit scary.  I called the (on call) doctor, and now I have to see my doctor on Monday.  But I thought it would ruin my plans.  And then, basically, we decided to go as a family.  So this was Ruby's first outing, that wasn't a doctors appt.  But Ruby pretty much stayed in the car most of the time.  It was just nice to get out in the sunshine, and do something fun for the girls.

My sister and her kids saw us as they were driving by, and decided to stop and say hello!  So here are the girls with some cousins.

Happy Fall :)

Girls, girls, girls :)

So I feel like I'm kind of missing Fall this year.  With a new little premee baby at home, we really can't take her out, or go anywhere as a family.  Someone has to be home with Ruby all the time.  I haven't been able to get out to see the Fall leaves, or get out much at all actually.  I know, it's only been 2 weeks since Ruby was born, and since I had my c-section, but I feel pretty good, and need some sun and fresh air.  So yesterday, we spent some time out in the backyard.  Chris and the girls ran and played, Ruby was in the house asleep, and I was soaking up the sun, and playing with my camera a bit.  It felt good just to spend some time outside.  The weather was beautiful!

I've taken so many pictures of Ruby lately, that I'm trying to make sure I get pictures of Bree and Elle also.  I think I should take them to get some pumpkins this week :)

Ruby and I ...

I took these two pictures of the girls this morning before they left for school.  I just thought they looked so cute dressed alike.  I don't do that very much anymore.

And here is a picture of Daddy holding Ruby before her bath.  I love this picture, because you can really see just how small Ruby is.

Last Thursday, my amazing sister-in-law Adelle, came over and took some pictures of Ruby.  We're just amateurs, but we gave it our best, and I was so pleased with how they turned out.  Adelle is getting good at this picture stuff!  I couldn't load very many, because the pics are so big, but here are just a few to tease you :)
