The best Husband

I just have to tell you what a wonderful husband I have.  I've been sick with coughs and a cold since the week before we went to Arches.  I've shared these wonderful things with my girls as well.  I really hope we can all get better soon.  Even Chris has had some of this yucky stuff.  But this weekend, it really hit me hard.  I've been so super tired.

Today Chris was so sweet.  He got up and made an incredible breakfast and did all the dishes. Oh yeah, I can't forget that I crawled back into bed today and slept for two hours while Chris played with the girls.  Then I made some home made soup for dinner.  And again, he put the left overs in the fridge, everything in the dishwasher, started it, and washed all the pots etc..   He is so good to me!!!  I really needed the rest.

This picture is old, but I love it.  Just a few months after we got married, my brother followed. This picture was taken at my brothers wedding at the SLC Temple.  I'm so glad Chris and I have been married in the Temple!  I can't imagine life without him :)

The girls :)

These girls are my life!!  Chris and I absolutely adore these two little sweeties!  How did I get so blessed to be sent two beautiful, sweet girls, who LOVE me so much!!  Even when I'm short tempered, they just want to be hugged and kissed, and love to be with their mom and dad :)
We call Bree our "Sweet pea", and Elle our "Love bug"!  And they are so much fun!

Bree

My little Bree.  She is so cute, always wanting to talk to me, follow me around the house helping me with everything.  She has to hand me the pillows when I make my bed.  Or if I'm cooking, she wants to be involved in mixing, and putting ingredients in.
She lets me take countless pictures, and always has a great smile for me :)
Bree is the best big sister, always sharing with Elle, and telling me when Elle is in peril and needs a rescue.
We love our skinny little Bree!  I always have to adjust, or pin her pants so they'll fit her.  Or just shop at Old Navy...they have skinny pants.

My Climber

My little Elle.  She is totally different from Bree.  I remember trying to keep Bree out of things, but she didn't really climb.  And of course, there is the curly hair, that Bree definitely didn't have either.
I find Elle trying to climb everything.  I always rescue her from on top of Bree's bed, or she's climbed into the toy box.  And she loves to climb up the stairs, but doesn't yet know how to come down.
And here she is, climbing the dresser, to see Mickey Mouse Club house!  Her feet aren't even on the ground :)
She's so much fun!  Almost every time I pick her up, her little arms go around my neck just as tight as can be, and she hugs me so close!!  She is also my hugger!
I love that Elle loves me, and wants to hug momma all the time!

Disney On Ice

Well, this weekend, was Disney On Ice.  I guess every kid should experience this at least once :) Elle's favorite is Mickey's Club House.  She watches it everyday.  Before we took our seats, we found this Photo opportunity.

They picked a few of the Disney Stories and did them.  There are so many!  The first was "The Little Mermaid."

Then you had "Lelou and Stitch".  I'm sure I've spelled it wrong? :)
Here is some "Peter Pan".  They spent a lot of time on this, and it was one of my favorites!

Of course, the Grand Finally.  All in all, it was a pretty good program.  My girls totally enjoyed every minute of it.  Bree and Elle's faces were so excited and priceless.  And Chris' favorite part, in his own words, was the huge bag of Kettle Corn we bought and munched on through the whole performance. It was very tasty, I must admit!  We even brought a little home.

Arches

Well, this is going to be a long post.  We just got back from Arches NP late last night.  And there are so many pictures, and great times!  I've never been to Arches in the snow before.  This is what we saw when we arrived on Saturday.  And I'm glad I snapped these few pictures, because by the end of the day, the snow was gone, and wouldn't be back!

The girls couldn't wait to get out of the truck.  In fact, Elle cried every time we had to get back into the truck to go somewhere.  She just wanted to walk around, and sit in the sand and rocks and play play play!  By the time we got home last night, the truck is the last place she wants to be for a while :)
Looks warm huh?!  he..he..  These are Chris' 3 nephews that went with us.  They had the campsite next to us.  I couldn't help taking this picture.  It cracked me up.  Because it was pretty cold that first day.  Actually, it wasn't all that warm ever.  And at night the winds would kick up, and we couldn't have a fire, because there was just too much wind and sand.
Our campsite!  Awesome!
Here we are camping in those awesome ROCKS!!
Our little hike to Skyline Arch.
This Arch just happens to be in the Campgrounds.  So we walked there from our camp.
There are so many fun places to explore.
Well, it's Elle's turn to ride in the back pack.  Bree has outgrown it.
Bree at Skyline!!
This is one of the rocks behind our trailer.  It's just a Playground :)
Another gorgeous day, and we decided to hike to Landscape Arch.  The biggest and so delicate. In 1990, or 1991 a piece actually fell off.  Someone just happened to be standing here and took a picture of it falling.  Incredible!

Okay, this is one of my favorites.  Because we didn't get a chance to hike to Delicate Arch this time.  I actually took this picture from about 5 miles away.  Crazy right!  Well, my camera does have the most amazing zoom lens ever!  It's a bit of a side view, but totally awesome for not actually being there.
Here we are exploring!
I just love this scenery, and taking incredible pictures.
Hiking around, finding places to play in the sand.
The girls loved every minute of it.  They just wanted to be outside, none of this sitting in the trailer for them.
Some fantastic views with the Henry mountains behind, covered in snow!
This is the Cove of Caves.  Pretty impressive.
Balanced Rock of course.  This time without snow :)
In all the times we've been to Arches, neither one of us, had been at this particular view point. Weird....but wonderful.

On our way to Sand Dune Arch, to play in the Sand!!

I LOVE this picture of Chris just having fun!!!

Here I am.  No makeup and all.  Well, if you have to put on makeup, can you call it camping? he..he..
Sand Dune Arch :)
And of course, my kids favorite place to play inside the trailer, um, yeah, under the table.  I guess it's their little hut.  The trip was awesome, and I really hated coming home.  Driving out of that wonderful place, knowing that I wouldn't see it for a while.  It's so amazing!!  Utah is so amazing!!
