October 2015 and Halloween (Part 2)

Thought I could post October in one post, but here is part TWO.

Halloween Costume Photo Shoot
in the backyard.

Madeline Hatter, Elsa, and Little Red Riding Hood

Halloween Crafts, to keep us busy on a day off school.

At the Jorgensen Family Halloween Party this year, we had our usual, amazing Potluck!
The cupcake walk, and various games for Prizes, and a costume parade.
I hardly took any pictures.  I guess I was just living in the moment!

And the Cream of the Crop....
Halloween!
We spent the evening at my Mom's house, eating super yummy food, Trick or Treating with cousins, Ranger Rides with Grandpa, Candy swapping, decorating Cat Cookies, Spooky music on the front porch, etc..  I know the kids had a blast!  It was a really fun night.

Ruby did her best to keep up with the big kids.  I was so impressed!
I offered to carry her very large treat sack, but she wouldn't have it.  She wanted to do this Trick or Treat thing all on her own.  For the most part anyway.  Love her!!

We found cousin Aleigha out and about.  She was trick or treating with some friends.
They had big plans for the evening!

Back at grandma's swapping candy!

Decorating Cookies

Happy Halloween!!

October 2015 and Halloween (Part 1)

Wow, I have gotten lazy lately.
It seems like the house is a mess, I'm not exercising as much these days, I haven't blogged, etc.. etc..
I think I need to get my act together.  I must have taken a mini vacation from life or something! :)

Anyway, I'm going to try and blog the whole month of October now.  Here.  In this one post!
Time to get caught up!

We started out October by taking the girls to Station Park to see the Movie "Hotel Transylvania 2".
It really set the mood for a month of ghoulish fun!
Then we put all the Halloween decorations up.

Finished and framed my latest Cross Stitch project at the beginning of September.  In time to enjoy it for two whole months!

I painted this tree, years ago, before I was even married.

Mr. Potato Head is ready for Halloween!

We had a different October this year.
With our season passes to Lagoon, we were able to go to Frightmares twice in the month of October!
We decided not to spend money on carving pumpkins or going to Cornbelly's, but went to Lagoon instead!  It was SO, MUCH, FUN!
At least I think everyone has as much fun as I did.
I can't believe how much they decorate the park.  Haunted houses, Trick or Treats, Straw Maze for kids, Halloween Attractions, and of course all of the rides as usual.
I loved it!!

One of our all time favorites....

My girls, in the front seat on Colossus!

Elle was a little nervous, even though it was broad daylight, and she was a nice Witch!

One of Ruby's favorites.... The Train.. Choo Choo!

I can't get enough of this!  Love my families faces when they ride the Wild Mouse!

I've cast a Spell on you, and now you're MINE! ha ha!

Elle got us wet on the Odessey!

Kids Corn Maze and Trick or Treats on Main Street in Pioneer Village!

Waiting for the Log Flume!

Family Selfy, with Falls leaves.

I don't think it's my time to go....just yet...

Girls watching the entertainment!

This group was so good, that I watched their performance at least 3 different times, on a couple of different visits!
They were seriously amazing!!

Fun, singing, Jack O lanterns!

Until next season Lagoon.  It's been an amazing RIDE!

And of course, I did some walking on my own and with friends in October.
I think my walking has been therapy.  I really enjoy it.  When I'm out on my own, listening to music, or thinking about life, or what I want to accomplish.  And I feel so good after a great walk!

The girls with their Halloween Flashlights.  Obtained in some Kids meals from Arctic Circle.

And some pictures of our yard.  I just love our yard.  You know, when you're buying a house, you don't ever get every single thing on your wish list.  I didn't get the perfect floor plan, but I got the backyard of my dreams.  It was a huge factor in our decision.  At the top of our list.  And it doesn't disappoint!  I can sacrifice a few other things, because I enjoy our backyard so much!

And in the Fall, it's just so beautiful!

And a picture I took one day of my neighborhood, area.
Fall is an amazing time of year!
