A Sunday Drive... Provo River Falls & Mirror Lake

One Sunday almost a month ago, we decided to take a Sunday Drive.

Like the previous post about the first day of school, I am a little behind on the blog.

It was nice to spend some time outdoors, picnic, walk, and play with the girls.

It was a BeaUtahful DAY!

We went to the Uinta's

Provo River Falls, and Mirror Lake

Chris and the girls waded in the water.  I chickened out.  And I had a legit excuse......

I was taking pictures.  Ha! 

The water was Ice cold!  

Elle slipped and fell all the way in, 3 times. 

I don't think anyone could feel their legs and feet when they got out. 

Good thing I brought everyone a change of clothes.  We never leave home without them.

There's a super fun trail that goes all the way around Mirror Lake.  

It was beautiful, and scenic, and all three girls enjoyed walking the whole thing!

Ruby even walked it.

There were fishermen along the path, flowers, and lots of fun rocks and things to climb on.

We got back to the Truck just before dark, and right when it started to sprinkle.

What a fun day in the great outdoors!

First Day of School and Stuff

My girls are growing up so fast!  I've asked them to stop several times, 

but we all know it's just not going to happen... sigh...

Ode to Lagoon!

ODE TO LAGOON....

My girls hadn't been to Lagoon for 6 years....since they were tiny.

Until now.

This Summer, we had Season Passes to Lagoon!

First time ever.  

Best time Ever!

Looking back through all of the pictures I took of each of our visits all summer long, they just make me smile.  The girls loved every minute of it.  We really had a great time.  Each week, they would branch out, and find new rides, they hadn't ridden, and find new favorite rides.  

I think next year, they might even try and talk me into the new Cannibal?  YIKES!

I think I'm more of a chicken than they are :) 

I can't believe Bree and Elle rode Colossus in the front row seat together without mom and dad.

Over and over again...  So Brave!

We were always talking about visiting Laguna Beach, but just never made it.

I guess we are saving that for next year.

 We're going a couple more times before it closes for the winter, but we'll definitely be back next year!! I see more season passes for us next summer!
