French Toast

I just had to post this picture. Bree is not a very big eater, but Elle loves a good meal :) This is Elle totally enjoying her French Toast on Christmas morning.

Santa Clause Came!

The stockings were hung by the Mantel with care :) In hopes that St. Nicholas soon would be there.

The girls had a great Christmas! Santa didn't forget them. We went smaller this year, and Chris and I really only got a few small things, but the girls were well taken care of :)

As you can see, Elle really loves her princess couch!
Chris and I got an awesome hammock from Cord and Adelle :) We love it guys!!
Elle got some babies, and doll accessories, and a full size wagon, that will eventually make it's way outdoors. And a few other things.
And Bree loves the doll house, that is taller than she is! It has stairs and an elevator! Her barbies even have their own convertible :) She also got a few fun games! We had a great Christmas, and hope you all did too!

Santa

Well, what can I say about today? Hmm, it wasn't what I had pictured in my mind. Most of my posts are cheery, but I've got to tell it like it is!

I took the girls to the Mall. We were going to have a fun Lunch, Sit on Santa's lap, and Ride the Merry Go Round. Then I thought I might hit a couple of stores. Just a relaxed day with the girls. Oh yeah right?!

From minute one, Elle didn't want to get in the car. She cried. No, Screamed! Then we get to the Mall, and I decide to see Santa first. I wanted a picture, and thought I would do it while the girls were fresh. Well, neither one would even get near him. And the picture isn't the best. But at least it shows that we saw Santa anyway. Bree did take a little Book and Candy Cane from him.

After that, we went to ride the Mary go Round. Elle screamed again. She wasn't going to sit on one of those ponies! So I stood there and held her on the ride and Bree had a great time. Afterward, we went for some lunch. Elle was all over the place. Up and down, up and down, sitting on the floor and crying etc... What? This is supposed to be fun!! After lunch, we went back to Ride the Mary go Round again. Bree rode it 3 more times :) That was the highlight of our whole day!

I thought I would walk into a couple of stores before we left the mall. But every time I even got half way into a store, Elle would start screaming at the top of her lungs. She was not going to let me shop in any way shape or form. Well, I could joke, and say that Chris set this up, so that I wouldn't spend any money :) he..he.. A positive outlook. I guess you win some and loose some. And even though we were supposed to have a fun day out, I think I lost some today.

A little more dance...

So I've already put some pictures up of the Rehearsal yesterday, but when we got to the Recital last night, I got some more amazing shots, that I wanted to share.

Bree's friend Cody, found her at the beginning, and they stayed together all night long! I took this picture before the show started.

Well, I thought I had gotten some great shots at Rehearsal, but it turns out, that the best ones were at the performance itself. The girls had a great time together!!

Dance Recital

Today is Bree's Dance Recital at 6pm. But this morning we went to dress rehearsal. Sometimes I get the best pictures there. Bree was a little hesitant at first, but once she saw the other girls dances too, she was excited to do it. And tonight, Daddy, Elle, and Grandma will be there watching :)

Bree's group has two dances. One with their Tap Shoes, and another with Ballet Shoes.

Snow Day 2009

Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow!!!!!

This morning we woke up to Snow!! It is the second snow of the year, and for the first time, we didn't have any plans, and just got dressed up and went out! The girls stood on the porch, so excited to get out there and play.

Last year, Elle was too little to walk around and play by herself, so she was really loving it!
This is the first year, I haven't bought new snow suits. Elle is wearing one of Bree's, and Bree still fits in last years outfit :)
They did get new hats though! So super cute!!
I walked up and down the street pulling the girls in their sleigh. The one that Santa brought them last year!
It was snowing the whole time we were out playing. Huge puffy flakes of snow! Fabulous!!
I love this time of year. Elle didn't last too long, and eventually, we left Bree out in the backyard for a bit on her own. But I think the girls had a wonderful morning playing out in the snow :)

Today Elle is 2!

Well, today my Elle turned 2! She is so wonderful. We LOVE her so much, and she adds so much to our family. Bree loves having a little sister to play with. And they love to play together. I remember when she was born. I gave her the nick name of "Love Bug". Little did I know, that she would be just that. She loves to give hugs and kisses, and just love you. She is so good at loving! She really is our LOVE BUG!

As you know, I am a picture crazy person. So I have about a zillion pictures of my beautiful girls. I tried to choose just some of my favorites of mostly just this past year to share with you. There were so many to choose from, that this is just a glimps :) I hope you like them as much as I do!! Happy Birthday Sweetheart!!
