Our Friend :)

This is our friend Marla.  She's in our ward.  She organizes our play group, and book club, and plays the piano in Primary, etc.. etc.. She's a great friend, and wonderful person.  Not only is she having her 7th baby in about a week, but she's also leaving us, to move up to Logan, so that her husband can go back to school. On Saturday, I was invited to her surprise baby shower/ going away party!
We talked, laughed, ate some really great food, and just enjoyed a girls afternoon out!  We're going to miss our good friend Marla!!!  So keep up your blog girl :)

Lazy Days in the yard

Well, we don't have a busy schedule, or things that we have to do everyday, but we like it that way.  The girls just love to be outside, and playing in the yard, or playing with Mom and Dad.  I love this time.  I love being with the girls, because I know that someday, when they're older, they'll want to be somewhere else.  But for right now, they get to spend all of their time with me.
Elle, LOVES being outside.  In fact, when we go out in the garage to get in the car to go somewhere, she is so upset, that she doesn't just get to go play in the yard, and that she has to get in the car.
Bree has a friend next door, that she plays with quite a bit.  But secretly, I love it when she is just home with mom!  I want her to spend time with me :)
Elle is into everything, and crazier than her sister ever was, but she is so loving too!  She gives the best hugs and kisses :)  We DO have to watch her like a hawk!
And the girls just LOVE it when Daddy is home to play with them.  He is the very best playmate ever!!

Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days!!

This weekend is the Pleasant Grove Strawberry Days.  Chris grew up in PG, and went to the Carnival almost every year growing up.  So we have been going to it also.  It seems like we always find some family there.  One of the best things, are the Strawberries and Cream of course, but I think Bree would tell you that the rides are the best! We ended up buying her the Wrist Band, which is basically an all day pass to all of the rides. And it's a good thing we did :)  Chris and I just bought some tickets, so that we could ride a few things with her.  Elle rode the Merry- Go- Round a couple of times, but that was the extent of her excitement!  She's not the rides type.  But Bree will ride anything and everything.  She was asking to ride some of the BIG rides, and we had to tell her no.  She is still too small.

First ride of the day...
Bree couldn't even stay off the rides long enough to eat really.  She had to ride this ride, while I was getting us some burgers for dinner.
They used to have one of these huge slides at Lagoon.  It had more slides, and I was sad when they took it out.  Bree loves to slide.  We did this a lot.

We tried to put Elle on the train, but they wouldn't let us ride with her, and she wasn't going to do it alone.  Or with her sister.
The Dragon Coaster!!  Bree's favorite!!
Elle and Mom, waiting for Bree and Daddy to ride.
Elle and her Animal Crackers.  I think she just about eats half of the box at one sitting.  Or standing :)
Bree got a little scared on the Farris Wheel, but after it got going, she was all smiles!

Bree's favorite ride, is the Dragon Roller-coaster!  She rode this one the most I think!
Lemonade, after a long hot day :)

Girls Day Out :)

Today we had some girl fun.  My sister Jen called, and the girls and I met her in SLC at the Gateway.  We had Ben and Jerry's, went to Build a Bear, ate dinner, played in the fountains, and Shopped until we dropped :)  It was a really fun time.

Bree picked out a Black Bear at the Build a Bear workshop.  She dressed it in a Pink Princess dress and named her Princess Aurora!  She got 4 other outfits, including a swim suit, with beach ball, sunglasses, swim goggles, flip flops, a lounge chair, etc..  And then a whole lot of other things as well. Because her birthday is coming up, her Bear also sings a Birthday song as well.  As we were walking away from the store, Bree told us how much fun she had just had building her Bear, and how much she liked it.  I'm so glad she had so much fun!

I bought the girls some clothes at Old Navy.  And it's a good thing too.  The very last thing we did was play in the fountains, and by the time we got to the car, Bree was freezing!  So, we pulled out some Jeans and a T-shirt, and dressed her all over again for the ride home :)

And I bought myself something at the BRIGHTON Store of course :)  My favorite!!

As you can see, we had a lot of fun, just us girls today!  Elle held her first Ice Cream cone alone. She ate French Fries, and ran through the fountains as well.  Aunt Jennifer did a little shopping of her own.  We had a great time.  I'm glad we were able to just go and play for a day.  I didn't have a camera, so no pictures.  I know, not like me.  But who takes their camera to the Mall? The weather was perfect....NO RAIN!!  And fun was had by all.

Sneak Peak

So we are buying a new camping trailer.  I can't believe we're letting our other little trailer go! I'm sentimental about it.  Our first trailer is comfy, cozy, and so us!!  I had a hard time talking myself out of it.  But the girls are getting older, and we're hoping to buy another 4 wheeler next year, so that our whole family can ride together.

And once we decided that we want another 4 wheeler someday, we needed a way to get the 4 wheelers out there, so we're moving up to a Toy Hauler.  I don't really like the normal Toy Haulers, because they are so boxy, and not comfy.  But we've found one that's awesome, and more trailer than Toy Hauler.  I think I can totally live with it :)  And it's got a pop out with tons of space.  So for my family, here is a Sneak Peak!

We'll see you all up at East Canyon in a couple of weeks.  Yea!!

Just hangin' out

These little sisters are so cute!  They play together so well.  They are best friends and just love to hang out!  Sometimes when we're driving in the truck, I'll turn around and they are holding hands, and being such cute sisters :)  I hope they stay best friends forever!!

Temple Mt. and Goblin Valley Trip

Well, we just got back from another incredible trip!  It was a week of so much fun!  Right when we got there, Elle wanted to play in the dirt.  So I let her.  And when I went to change her diaper, we found all kinds of treasures in there.  I think almost all of the sand she was sitting in, was in there :)  But she did have lots of fun!
We really couldn't keep Elle in the trailer at all.  She just wanted to be outside the whole time.  And who wouldn't?  One of her favorite things, was to ride the 4 wheeler!  She loves it!!
Bree and I went on a little hike, while we were waiting for Grandma and Grandpa, Cord and Adelle, to get there.  We took a few pictures on our little hike.
Bree took this one of me.  She is good!
The rocks had been molded by the water and wind.  They are incredible.
Chris and I after a long first day, at the Campfire.
I think Bree was a little tired.  She just couldn't stay awake for the Campfire :)
Another fun hike!  We just walked through the wash behind our camp, and found some really great places.
Adelle, Libby, and Grandma.
Here comes grandpa in the Ranger.  He gave the little girls a ride.
Daddy's and babies.  And we can't forget our Jeep Strollers!!
Cord is so crazy!  If you turned your head, he'd be gone, and you'd find him on some cliff, or up the side of a wall, or something.  He was climbing everything and having a great time!
The girls found some cool shade and fun caves.
Elle decided to join in too.

Another cool part of the wash, and awesome rocks!
We took a 4 wheeling ride around Temple Mt.  The first part was through some great washes and canyons, and the second was a bit treacherous, and scary, but we made it, and had a great time!  It was a long ride, and so much fun!
Bree was even asleep at the half way point.  But woke up for some snacks etc...
Elle got to ride in the Ranger with Grandma and Grandpa.
Here we are Exploring at the half way point.
The road is getting rocky!  And a bit skinny in some places, but we all got through.  Even the ranger!
Oh, Goblin Valley!!  I love this place.  The kids can run around and climb, and it's just so awesome!  Another fun day out camping!
We're going in.....
There are so many fun places here :)
Our family :)
Mom and Dad!
Cord and Adelle!
We met up with a whole lot of Chris' family too!  I can't believe how many people came on this trip!

Strike a Pose!
A cool Cave.
Here's our gang!  Dax is taking the picture!  Cord, Adelle, Mom, Me, Chris, Elle, Bree, Libby, Natalie, Grandpa, Kayla, and Monica.
My little family climbing around!
Elle is having a great ride on daddy's back!
Libby, Kayla, and Bree ran all over playing tag and other games :)
Adelle and the girls :)
Our picnic afterward was fun!  We took the little grill, and had a Hotdog BBQ.  Elle and Grandma looking at through the Camera.
Monica and Kayla posing for a picture.
Bree's cheeks look so hot!  She had so much fun!
Back at Camp, Chris is cooking us some steak on the grill :)
Another ride!  We wanted to take Dax's family out and show them around too.
Bree and I having snacks!
Mom and I rode together.  It was so fun to spend some time with my Mom and talk as we were riding.  She got off here, so I could navigate a hard spot, but then we were back riding again.
Bree loves the Ranger and Camping!!
Grandpa showing what he can do in the Ranger!
Coming out of the wash!
Our Camp from far away!!  We counted, and had 17 Trailers and 2 tents!  Not bad for a family Camp out!!  Chris and I put out the word, and everyone came!  We have big families :)
Monica and Dax coming back from a Bike Ride :)
Elle is watching T.V. in the trailer.  So cute!
The girls :)  Bree fell and scraped up her knees, and we had just said goodby to Grandma and Grandpa, Cord, Adelle, Dax and Monica.  Now what do we do? he...he..  Chris' family is still here too :)
Bree and Elle on the 4 wheeler!  They love it!
Chris and I were able to take a ride on Monday before we came home.  Lois watched the girls and we headed out.  I had no idea we'd find so much cool stuff!!

We went through a wash until we couldn't go anymore, and when we got off, we found some awesome things!!!

This is why we couldn't go any further.  But it was such an awesome find.  And then it turned into pools.  And then back into the wash.  Wow, what scenery!!

These pools were so awesome!  There were so many lines and colors in the rocks!

There's the 4 wheeler, right where we left it.  Too cool!!
There are so many pictures, I really tried to pick the very best ones for you all to see.  And finally....in the truck on the way home.  Two tired girls.  Camping is hard work :)  And so much fun!!!!!
