Backyard Fun

It's been so warm this week.  I think it was close to 60 out today.  All of the snow is gone, and the kids are so ready to play outdoors again.  So when Daddy got home, we took the girls out in the backyard for some fun.
Bree was so excited to show Elle the ropes, and take her down the big slide.

Elle is walking now, and this summer is going to be so much fun!!

This has got to be the cutest little face ever!
Ok, this one is just as cute, don't you think!
It's just so nice to be able to go out in the backyard and play again!  Now we just need to put the swing set back together, and we'll really be in business :)

Little girls

My kids are so cute!  Yesterday was Hilarious!  We were sitting at the dinner table getting ready to say the prayer on the food, and Bree told us that she wanted to say it.  Ok, this would be her first time.  And as you know, Bree just started going to Primary as a new Sunbeam in January. So Chris said ok, repeat after me... Heavenly Father.....and Bree says, "Loves me!"  And Chris says, Heavenly Father.....and Bree says, "Loves Me!"  Then Chris says, no, you should repeat what I say so that you can say the Prayer.  So Chris says, Heavenly Father.....and Bree says "Loves Me!" Well, Chris and I started Cracking up, and I knew she'd been listening in Primary :)

I think Elle is at that Stage, where no matter what, she is into everything, all the time!  It is her time to explore.  She's been getting into the diaper bag lately, and drags everything out.  Well, yesterday I caught her in the nick of time!  I had left a few Hershey's Kisses in the bag.  When I found her, in her room, she was holding a chocolate kiss in her hand, and had chocolate all over her face.  OK, I know Chris LOVES Chocolate, but I think it's a little too early to be teaching our daughter about the pleasures of Chocolate :)  Whew, that was a close one.  She hadn't touched anything yet.  I had just had a feeling to check on her!!

I LOVE my sweet little girls!  They are so much fun!

Dinosaurs

Tonight was fun, because my brother and his little family drove down from Ogden to spend the evening with us.  My niece Kayla loves animals, and Dinosaurs etc..  And Bree loves to play with Kayla.  So I fixed an awesome dinner, and then we went over to the Dino Museum at Thanksgiving Point.
We watched the 3D IMAX movie on Dinosaurs!  Bree's glasses were too big and I had to keep adjusting them for her.  But it was so fun.  We were actually the only ones in the Theatre.  So the girls were laughing and talking about how the Dinosaurs kept trying to eat them.  And about how we were flying through the sky.  Bree kept asking me, "Who is moving us mom"? Her tiny little hands were wrapped around my arm, so that she would feel safe :)  So cute!!

The girls crawled through this cave, though they didn't want to at first.  We talked them into it.

Kayla is turning 7 in a couple of weeks.  I thought my Bree looked so little next to her cousin. Sometimes, I expect her to be so grown up, but have to step back and think that she's only 3. And I'm glad she is, because I can still hold her, and play with her, and she wants to spend all of her time with me.  Today she helped me make a cake.  She loves to help me cook.
The girls were playing in the water and sand.  By the time we got to this point, it was almost closing time, so all the other kids were done, and Bree and Kayla had it all to themselves for a little bit.

Oh no!!  S-H-A--R-K!!
Tonight was a blast!  We left Elle home with Daddy, and it was fun to have a little time with Bree tonight!  It was really fun to have Dax, Monica, and Kayla come play with us too :)

Daily Happenings

One of our favorite things, is when we go out and get our lunch, to see what surprise will be waiting for us in the Kids Meal.  Bree just loves to see what toy she is going to spend the afternoon with.
This time, it was a castle.  She got her tiny little Princess' and they played in the Castle for quite some time.
Oh, then flounder showed up too :)

Then just the other day, we took Grandma Bump bump, out for dinner.  We went to the Cracker Barrel.  We always have to walk through the store.  I was busy looking at something, and Bree asked me what she could buy.  I told her to go find a toy.  A little bit later, she came back with the biggest grin on her face.  She had found the best ever!!  Wubbzie!  Not only Wubbzie, but the best friends, Waldon, and Widget too.  I couldn't remember their names, but she proudly told us all :)  She was so excited.  She knew exactly what she wanted.  Then when we got home, she told me that I had to take a picture of them for her.  So here is the cast of Wow Wow Wubbzie!

Baby Face

My little Elle is now 14 months old!  She is walking better everyday.  In these first two pictures you can see her just standing in her room.  She will walk from the dresser, to the bed.  Or from Mommy, or Daddy to something else.  She walks half way across the room.  She isn't quite walking all over the house.  But, she's so close, and walking in little stints.  Once in a while, she'll walk from her room into ours, and then back.
She looks so grown up, but she's still just my little baby.
Oh, and yes, I did say she is 14 months old.  And she still has NO, I repeat, NO TEETH :)
Her hair is not at all like Bree's, but is curly like Mommies!

Look at that cute little baby face!
