The 2009 McClellan Family Reunion

Today we went to a Reunion on my Mom's side of the family.  McClellan is actually my mother's grandma.  My mother has been collecting all kinds of information from all of the families, pictures, stories, etc... and compiling a book.  A Family History Book.  She brought a copy to the Reunion, and we were all able to preview it, so that she can take orders.  I can't believe how much work my mom had put into it.  It's a total treasure, and I may just have to order more than one.  My girls should have a copy of this wonderful Book.

Here are the Family Pictures we took at the Reunion today.  Each family is grouped by which brother or sister they came from.
There are 5 siblings in my mom's family.  Here she is with 3 of them, and her mom.  My Mom's brother Robert, Sister Shelly, Mom, her brother Cory, her Mom, Grandma Perkins, and Grandma's sister.  So this picture has most of my mom's immediate family...one of her brothers, and her Father have passed.
Another Family....
And Another Family.... Of course many people couldn't make it, so this group looks small, but at least we had some :)
My cousin Jenny, her husband, and Son.
And the LeOra Family..... my family :)
Elle and Chris :)
Here we are!  Bree took this picture!
Bree!
Dad, Mom, Jennifer, and Aunt Shelly, are looking at the Family History Book my mom has made.  The family owned a Bakery back in the day right here in Payson.  There were old Recipes from the bakery in their original hand writing in the book.  The buildings are still here.  Mom put together a map so that we could go look at the houses my grandma lived in, the bakery, and all of the graves of our family at the Payson Cemetery.
Chris on the POGO!
Mom on the POGO!!  I can't believe how good she was.  She said she grew up on Pogo's and Stilts :)  Amazing :)
My cousin Heather, My sister-in-law Adelle, and my niece Natalie.
Running back from the playground, are Bree, Aleigha, Bronson, and Libby :)
Bree is still running!!
What a day this has been.  I hope I can work on some of Chris' side of the Family History.  They really need some help.  I guess I need to get some help from the "PRO", my Mom!  She's a great example!!

B-mo, we just got back at 8:45 p.m. Long, long day...but so fun. Thanks for taking the pictures of the different family groups. They are great! Remember to email me a copy of LeOra's group.

It was fun driving to the bakery, Grandma McClellan's home and visiting the 17 grave sites at the Cemetery. Of course, mom told us all kinds of stories about our family settling Payson. Wish you all could have stayed later and came with us. Abby even found a home she wants to buy there so she can continue running the bakery!

I can't believe that your mom is a McClellan. My grandma's maiden name is McClellan! Maybe we are related and don't even know it!!! It looks like you had tons of fun. It's always nice to get together with family. I miss that. Since my Grandpa and Grandma Green passed away, we don't see that side of the family very often. Well, I see my Aunt Janice alot since we scrapbook together. But the rest of the family is far away.
