Today we went to the Zoo. We've been talking about it forever. We talked about it all last year, and never made it. So this was Elle's first time at the Zoo. We finally made it :)
The girls were so excited! Bree has been talking about it all week. We each got to pick some yummy food for lunch. I had a burger, the girls had chicken strips, and daddy had a corn dog. The girls got little fruit drinks in Lion cups.

The girls and I watching the Elephants. The first time we brought Bree to the Zoo, the Elephants were her favorite. This year, it was the Penguins. 
Once the girls saw the Merry Go Round, it was a given, that they'd be riding it! Daddy got to ride too. 
Here we are with the Giraffe's. By this time, all Elle wanted to do, was eat Cheetos! 
And now we saved the BEST for last. At least Elle thought so. Elle totally LOVED riding the train. She was so bummed when we had to get off. I've been so confused all day thinking that it is Saturday, when it's only Friday. We love having daddy home on a week day!!! Especially when we get to do something really fun :)

Glad you got to have a fun outing. I love it when Cord takes the day off too. It makes the week so much better! I haven't been to the zoo. I will have to make the trip this summer.
