This year we went to Salina, Utah
It wasn't far from town, but boy was it a dusty, dirty trip!
We explored, and found rocks, went 4 wheeling, played games, had campfires, ate potluck, etc...
Elle, the explorer..
One of the old trees in our camp. We could see right through it :)
Campfire time.... stories, laughing, and smores!
My little family going for a ride. I can't ride this year being pregnant, so I've started working on a new cross stitch. It's a doozy, and will take me forever, but it kept me busy back at camp, while my family was out riding!
Oh the games.... they were fun. We had a shooting range, and shot BB Guns, a tug of war, doughnut eating, bean bag toss, etc... The games were Bree's favorite part. I was in charge of prizes. The kids came home with a bag full of goodies.
My family WON the tug of war. Bree, Elle, and Daddy, all on the same team :) I think Chris really won it! My super strong guy :)
Doughnut eating was hilarious! It's amazing how hard it is, to eat a moving doughnut with no hands :)
We got in the truck and drove about 6 miles to Rex Reserviour. I know, it's spelled wrong! I can't seem to get it right. The girls love to throw rocks in the water.
And the sunset on our last night. I was called out of my trailer to come and take this picture! It is really pretty. It was a fun trip. Very dusty, and dirty. Hard to keep anything clean. Dirt in your hair, nails, eye's, etc... Getting home, I totally appreciate the fact that I can just turn on the tap and an abundance of unlimited clean water just pours out! Not to be restricted. Oh, how wonderful our lives really are :)

Looks like a good time. I bet the girls didn't mind being dirty. :) I love a nice hot shower after camping. It is the best!
I bet the kids were loving the prizes, if you were in charge! Looks like a great family outing.
Oh, I hear ya on the dirt. I do love camping, but man...I love being clean and having my kids clean!
