Mother's Day Weekend 2014

Mother's Day Weekend 2014

Started out with a Walk in the Rain.
We are in our Final week of training for the Ogden Half Marathon.
I am getting nervous!
It has already been an experience of a lifetime.
I'll definitely have to make a scrapbook about it, after we've done the Marathon.
The race is this coming Saturday.... Wish us luck :)

After walking 6 Miles, I went and coached Elle's Soccer Game.
They have 1 game left, but Elle won't be there, because of our Race, so I gave the girls
their Medals this week.  We had one girl not at the game.  Elle scored a goal.  It was awesome.
She basically took it all the way down the field, and scored.  Granny B, Grandpa, and Kayla were at the game to watch.  It was fun to have them there.
My girls LOVE Soccer.  So glad they are playing.

P.S.  While on my walk, I got a call on My Cel Phone from Bree.  She scored her First Goal!!!
This is awesome because this is her first year playing with girls who are older than her, that are very good and experienced.  Her team and coaches have been fantastic to Bree.
Here is the account as I was told by Chris....
Bree was at mid field, and booted the ball way up the side of the field, and then her and a girl on the other team were running as hard as they could to catch up to the ball.  Chris said, Bree was running hard and fast.  It got kicked to center field, and then somehow kicked right back out to Bree.  She was in perfect position, and gave it another huge kick, with force, right into the goal!  The whole team was cheering for Bree.  The coach ran out and gave her a high five.  Chris said that the parents that know Bree were cheering hard for her, and congratulated her.  Her team mates were super excited and cheering for her and jumping up and down.  I guess it was awesome.  So sad I didn't see it in person, but I know it was great!

After Elle's game, we went home and I made some Macaroni Salad, and we got ready to go to the Wallberg's house, for Ryden's 2nd Birthday Party.  The Cousins played and played while us Adults talked and talked.  We had tons of yummy food too.

At the end of the night, My girls gave Granny B some Mother's Day Cards and a Small gift, since we wouldn't see her the next day...Mother's Day.
I love my Mother so much!  She is the BEST person I know.
Always smiling, cheerful, with a song in her heart.  Always giving service.
The most wonderful person indeed.
I have been blessed twice in the past couple of years to have opportunities to where I have been able to spend a lot of time with my mom.
She spent a lot of time taking care of me and my family when I was having Ruby.  And now our walking/training for the Half Marathon.  I have loved every minute I get to spend with my mom, and hope for many more years of making memories with her.
She is a very special person, and I LOVE my MOM :)

Sunday morning, Mother's Day, the girls came in as soon as they knew I was awake!  They showered me with gifts and little cards they had made, and were hiding.  It was so cute, it made me cry.  I LOVE my girls more than they can imagine.  As I'm sure every mother loves their children.  I can't believe how blessed I am to have 3 amazing, beautiful girls!!

Chris made pancakes for all of us girls.
Heart Shaped ones, for the girls.  I love him so much.  He takes such good care of us :)

The girls spent some time, being mother's.  It was really cute!

I had Chris snap a quick picture of me and the girls.

I took some pictures of my loot :)
I forgot to mention, that Chris came home early on Friday, and surprised me with a dozen roses and some cheesecake.  My favorite part of it all, was that he was home early, spending time with me.  I mean, don't get me wrong, the flowers, were awesome, but HE is all I need :)

We drove down to P.G. to visit Chris' mom.  She getting up there in age.  I think she'll be 85 this year.  I guess she had a little visit to the hospital this week for a bladder problem.
I guess she had a lot of visitors all day long.  We got to visit with a lot of family while we were there.  Family coming and going.  It was nice.  And she fed us too, which is always a bonus! :)
The girls gave her a card and little gift.
I wanted to snap a picture.  You just never know how life is going to go.
I took it on my phone, so it's not the best.  But I love it just the same.
It was a full weekend.  I'm tired, but it was so good to spend time with so much family!
Happy Mother's Day to all!
