Strawberry Days and a Birthday Party

This past weekend,  we had two super fun activities.
Friday, we drove down to Pleasant Grove for their Strawberry Day's Carnival.
We usually go every year, although, we had a conflict last year, and didn't make it, so it was really fun to get back there this summer.  It gives us a chance to spend some time with Chris' mom, who is amazingly willing to go on just about any ride with the girls, and does.  This year, she bought a wrist band just like the girls, and rode a lot of rides.  She's only 84 years old I think.  83 or 84, either way she's Amazing!! :)

One of Bree's previously favorite rides.  The Dragon Coaster!  Although, I think this year, she found a new, much bigger favorite ride.

Ruby barely made the height requirement for this ride.  They didn't want to let her on, but she sat with Bree on this ride twice, and loved it :)

Elle is NOT a dare devil.  This was her first year riding the Ferris Wheel.  She loved it so much, she went on it twice I think.  She told Grandma Bump Bump while they were at the top, that she was a big girl now :)

And Bree's new favorite ride.  She talked Grandma and Daddy into riding it with her the first time.  Chris got a little sick, but grandma went back once more.  And then Bree rode it another 4 times in a row, and made herself a little woozy.  Funny girl!

Lemonade!

Chris and I had a little 10 minute date, while grandma watched the girls, so we could ride the Ferris Wheel together :)  Yay!

This was Ruby's first time at the Carnival.  She loved all the rides she was able to go on.  I loved that the girls were so happy!

And the SLIDE!  I got to slide down several times with the girls too.  It's soooo FUN!

Strawberry Day's is the oldest and longest running Carnival in Utah.
I think we're hooked.  It will be sad when the girls outgrow the rides.  They have some huge rides, but I get sick just looking at them.

And when you come to Strawberry Day's, you just have to get some Strawberries and Cream! :)

And then on Saturday, we celebrated Bree's Birthday!  10 days early...
This year, with everyone's vacations, we decided that if we didn't celebrate early, that we wouldn't be able to get the family together for Bree's Birthday.  So, even though Bree's Birthday isn't until JULY 1st, we have already had a party.

First we went swimming at Layton Surf and Swim!
It was a blast I must say...

And then we headed back to our house, for some dinner and dessert in the backyard!
We had an awesome Spaghetti dinner, with bread and salad, and then cup cakes, and Ice Cream.

Happy Birthday BREE!!  Can't believe you'll be 9 soon.

Bree has an audience while she is opening her presents.
I love when my family is together.  We have such a good time together!

Aunt Adelle brought some glow sticks and the girls got to make crowns and jewelry :)

Happy 9th Birthday Bree!
We LOVE You!

It was a great birthday party. I am glad you moved it up so we could be there. I would have hated to miss it. We love BREE. Thanks for the fun summer night.

I should have used your picture's of Bree and Elle in their crowns on the blog. They look like princess to me!!
