This year we stayed home for the 4th.
I enjoyed our lazy day.
The girls swam in their pool. We brought home takeout from Texas Roadhouse. I took some fun pictures of the girls. And we had our own little Firework show in the backyard.
It was Ruby's 1st Fireworks. Last year, she went to bed and missed them :)
Chris and I watched "The Patriot" on the 3rd, after the girls went to bed. It gave me a new sense of pride for our country. But it also made me really think about all of the sacrifices, the war, and what really transpired to make our great country!
