Three things in this post.
1- On August 13th, we went with my parents to the Ogden Temple Open House.
2- The girls First Soccer Games of the Season
3- The First Day of School
First off, on August 13th we went to the Ogden Temple Open House!
I am so glad that we had this opportunity. It is so Beautiful, and the feeling inside the Temple, well, is amazing. But most of all, I wanted my girls to be able to see in the Temple. And as we walked through the rooms, I was giving the girls a tutorial, about what happens in each room. Just a general explanation. Chris mentioned afterward, how happy he was that I was telling the girls about the Temple as we were walking through. It makes it more real for them. I want them to have the desire to go to the Temple someday when they are able.
Chris and I were married in the Ogden Temple.
The week surrounding our visit, it was fun to think back on our Wedding Day, just a short 10 years ago. A lot of wonderful memories of being in the Ogden Temple on our Wedding Day.
I can't wait until it is dedicated, so that we can go back to the Temple and enjoy the blessings of the Ogden Temple! To spend some time there :)
My awesome parents!
My forever Family!
This past Saturday the girls played their first Soccer games of the Season.
They got up early, and were so cute! The games overlapped a bit, so I only got to see a small portion of Elle's game. Good thing there are two parents, so that we can split up once in a while when the games conflict. Bree just had it in her mind that she wanted to score. The coach wanted to play her on Defense, but she requested forward. And wouldn't you know it, she scored a goal! She is probably going to have to play some defense, sooner or later, but she really had a plan, and made it happen :)
My girls really are the BEST of Friends! I love how they love each other so much.
Elle ran up to Bree after her game, and gave her this amazing HUG!
They miss each other, whenever one is gone somewhere and the other can't go.
Yesterday was the First Day of School!
My girls just LOVE School. They couldn't wait.
They were so excited, that Elle got out of bed, twice in the night, because she couldn't sleep.
They even came home all hyper yesterday, and couldn't wait to go back today.
I loved hearing about their first day of school.
And Elle absolutely loves the fact that she gets to eat lunch at school in the lunch room.
Bree age 9, 4th grade.
Elle age 6, 1st grade.
Well, I guess that leaves Ruby and I home alone.
I've got to say, that after 2 days of school, I am loving this concept also.
I love that we don't have anyone in preschool, or kindergarten this year. No half day, or 2 hours of school. No dropping off, or picking up, in the middle of the day. It's so nice!
And Ruby and I have made a pact, to go walking every morning.
I can just put her in the stroller, and we're off.
So for the past two days, I've gotten a really nice morning workout in. Loving it :)
Today, Ruby helped me pick some tomatoes, before her nap.
And while she sleeps for 2 hours, Mommy has quiet time all to myself!
I am loving it.
Yeah, I cried a bit, because my girls are getting bigger, but there are some bonus' too.

What great pictures, of everything! The temple you were married in sure is different now, right? But it's just different on the outside, the feeling inside is still the same. I think it's the most beautiful temple. So glad you took mom and dad. Can't believe how big the girls are...growing so fast. It has been fun to watch their personalities develop over the years. I'm so happy they love school and that you are finally getting some time to yourself. Yay, for mommy time!
