Halloween 2014

Halloween sort of snuck up on me this year.
With painting the house, it's pretty much consumed my every thought and spare moment for quite some time.  It's just a good thing we had a planned activity to Cornbelly's with the cousins, or I'm not sure my girls would have had any Fall fun this year.  We didn't even buy or carve any pumpkins.
But we did manage to come up with some costumes, and go to a Halloween party on each side of the family.

First though, I was able to go spend some time with Elle in her 1st grade class for their Halloween Party.  Elle was so excited, she could barely stand it.  Excited that I was going to get to come volunteer in her class.  She talked about it for days, and was so cute about it.  I'm glad that Chris was able to come home and watch Ruby, so I could go to Elle's room.  I took a few pictures, but not many.  They split the kids into small groups, and went around the room to different stations, where there were crafts, food and games.  I read Halloween Books to the kids.

Halloween night was spent with the Belnap's!  We went over to Aunt Jen and Doug's for some super yummy Home made Chili and Rootbeer, and other fun treats.  And of course, we went trick or treating with the gang!  The kids watched a Halloween Movie and played and played together.

Then the next day, Yes, the day after Halloween, because it was a Saturday, we drove to Pleasant Grove for the Jorgensen Halloween Party.  Our family is so big, that most major parties are held at someone's church now.  I didn't take a lot of pictures this year for some reason.  But I was super impressed!  We had a huge spread, with turkey's, all kinds of salads, rolls, desserts, drinks, etc... It was awesome!  The prize table was huge!  I think my girls came home with an armful of goods.  And then out in the hall, in each classroom, there were games, and you won candy and prizes!  It was like a ward party.  Our family being a whole ward :)

I'm just glad my girls have so much amazing family to share the holidays with!

I made these yummy mini Banana Cream Pies for the Belnap party.
Found them on good old Pinterest.  They turned out amazing!

And Adelle brought some a yummy Vegi tray, including this cool Vegi Guy!
and of course, Jen and Doug made awesome homemade Chili and Rootbeer!

Elle switched it up, and decided to be a Princess :)
Why not, if you have multiple costumes to choose from!

Me, the Half Marathoner.... ha!
And it just donned on me, that I forgot my race number.
Like I said, I didn't really think much about Halloween this year.
