Christmas and New Years

In a way I'm a little bit sad that the Holidays are over, but then again, I am excited for a New Year, and ready to set some new goals, and have something new to focus on.

We had a fabulous Christmas.  Santa was very generous and everyone got what they wanted.
We were able to spend time with both Chris and my families for the holidays, and had some fun time off school and work, to play with our each other, and our new toys.

Our Christmas Selfie :)

Elle made this at school and brought it home for Chris and I.  One of my favorite gifts!

And who needs an Elf on the Shelf, when we have this cute little Elf of our own :)

Before Christmas, while the girls were home from school, I took them and we spent an afternoon at the Mall.  Lunch in the food court, and a trip to the Mall play area.  And I bought the girls some Kendamas.  I guess they are all the rage.

Santa Came....

And so did the Snow!
We woke up to a White Christmas.
Just perfect :)

 Ruby's Kitchen

I think this is one of the girls favorite gifts... Their new Rollerskates.
Santa surprised Mommy with a new pair of skates as well.  And we've already been to the rink to try them out!

Ruby's Slide

Trying out her sister's new Karaoke Machine...

An intense game of Battleship!  :) he..he..

Going for a ride in Daddy's new Wagon

Belnaps

While on break, we went Roller Skating, did a little Sledding in the Backyard, with the girls new tubes, and played with our new Karaoke Machine!  We've really had some fun.

Our New Years Eve Spread!
Fruit, a Vegi Tray, 7 Layer Dip, Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins, Cheese and Crackers, Chocolate, etc...  We definitely weren't lacking for good food :)

Skating with Cousin Aleigha.
We stayed for 3 hours.
I think we're going to have to go skating often :)

Playing in the Snow!
We've all had some sickness over the holidays, but finally made it outdoors.

Karaoke Fun!

We've been working on this puzzle over the whole break.
I kind of did most of it on my own, with a little help from Chris.
It took me 2 weeks.  Not enough good lighting, which made it harder, but we got it done!

Chris found out about a little New Years Eve Cartoon Countdown on Netflix.  So about 8:30pm, we watched it, counted down to New Years, and made some noise!!  We had pops, and horns, etc.. We wanted Ruby to be able to Celebrate with us, before she went to bed.  It was perfect!  So cute!
And when midnight came, we watched the Ball drop in NYC very quietly :)

Oh my goodness, the pictures of Ruby (the elf) are to die for....I love the second one especially! What a doll! Your whole family is so cute, B. What fun memories you are making together. What a great Christmas for you, indeed! Happy New Year to the Jorgensens.

Lots of fun over the holidays! Your Christmas tree is like a post card. So bright with all the lights. Glad everyone got feeling better so you could get out and enjoy the snow. Maybe it will be our only chance this winter! AH! Lets plan a day to skate together. It would be fun.
