A couple of nights before Christmas, and I can't even remember exactly now, we spent an Evening at the Evan's! The kids played video games, and checkers with grandpa, and we put together a puzzle, and I even tried virtual reality goggles.
It was a hilariously good time! It was fun and relaxing, and a really nice time!
Bree and Aleigha modeled their new dance jackets for us!
And then the fun began.....
Grandpa taught Elle all of his strategies for playing checkers.
I think she was really enjoying the time she got to spend with him.
And this is how you play checkers with Ruby....
We spent time putting a puzzle together!
I was playing around with the virtual reality glasses, and turned and screamed right in my mom's face! I scared her and Jen so bad. We were all laughing so hard!
On Christmas Eve morning, our little family exchanged our gifts to each other.
It was fun to open something early.
Christmas Day!
Santa came, and treated the girls very well.
And after we got up and ready, we headed to grandma and grandpa's, for more family time!
We spent the morning at home, opening our presents, and enjoying each other.
The one and only thing Ruby asked Santa for, was an Elsa Castle.
That's what she calls it.
Her Frozen Castle, (doll house) is amazing!
Santa really outdid himself this time.
It's Ruby's favorite thing. She plays with it all the time.
I'm so glad she is so happy with it.
Over the River and through the woods, to Grandmother's house we go.....
My Mom always make such yummy food when we get together! Especially on Christmas.
A yummy buffet for sure :)
Enjoying each other's company on Christmas Day!
I totally wanted a set of Pipe Bells! Doug and Jen were so awesome to make each family a set of their own! So super cool.
Now I just need to print off some music :)
Super bright headlamps for the boys!
What a wonderful Holiday Season for sure!
It's the most Wonderful time of the year.
