No one really blogs anymore?

 Just thought I’d publish something on my blog. Just because it’s been so long. And just because I can.  I kind of stumbled upon my blog by accident. Too bad I don’t use it anymore. It was a journal of sorts. Now I use my instagram as a journal. More pictures, less words. I love these little people. They actually aren’t so little anymore! Bree is a Senior and will graduate High School this year. Elle is in her last year of Junior High. And Ruby is in 4th grade!  They are growing up. I am getting old. I think I don’t like any of it.

 I’ve thought a lot about my Dad this holiday season. Missing him terribly. Wishing he were here to spend the holidays with us. Thinking back on so many old memories. Also, just missing everyone who’s gone. Grand parents, family who are gone. I’ve thought about holidays past when we were all together. Oh how I miss them. It will be so nice to see them again someday. I’m so grateful for Chris and the girls. And all the family and friends that ARE here!  Thankful for all of them. 

Ok, just need to say that this Winter is Rocking so far!!  We’ve had so much snow and rain!  So far we have so much water, and after the drought we’ve been in, and not being able to water the lawn this past summer, and the fact that I love snow…. I’m praying that it just keeps on coming!!!!  I’m loving it!  The world is so pretty all covered in white!

There are a few things that I need to change. I have a record amount of weight to loose. It’s almost daunting. One day at a time. The house needs some deep cleaning. One room at a time. There is a long list of pricey items that need to be repaired/replaced. One thing at a time. Patience isn’t something I’m very good at, but I’ve got to try!  

I’m tired of social media. There’s too much info out there. Too much to process. Not enough time to do it all. I’m tired of knowing what everyone is up to. Kind of makes me feel like I’m up to nothing. But, I post things on my Instagram because it’s my journal these days. Wish there were no cel phones. Let’s go back to the 70’s/80’s. I think it’s seriously harmful. I hate when my girls, and myself can’t put down our phones. Boo!  Except when I find really cool crochet or cross stitch patterns, and the video tutorials to go with them. Then it’s fine. Ha ha!! 

Well, I guess that’s it for now.  Just a few thoughts.
