Princess Sheets

I had bought some Princess Sheets for Bree's bed, and was deciding weather to save them for Christmas or not.  But the other day, I decided to completely surprise her.  I put the sheets on her bed, and then when it was nap time, I told Bree to come upstairs, and that there was something special for her, in her room.  When she saw the sheets, she jumped up and down and squealed. Bree is totally into being a princess lately.  We just got Sleeping Beauty on Dvd, and she loves it. She loves to dress up, and tells me that she is a Princess.  Well, of course, I say, you ARE my Princess!  Princess Bree!! 

Date night!!

Oh, I'd say it's been a very long time since Chris and I have actually been out together.  It seems like the last 10 times we've had our mom's watch the kids, it's because we had something to get done on the house.  I can't even remember the last movie I saw in the Theatre.  But yesterday Chris called from work and said that his mom was coming over at 4:30, and that we were going out.  Yahoo!  I didn't even really care too much what we did.  But, we ended up at the Movies.  We didn't want to leave the girls too long, so after the movie, we brought home some takeout, and ate dinner with the girls.  It went by way too fast, but it was so nice to have a night out with my husband!  I think we're going to have to start dating a little more often :)  Next month will be our 5 year wedding anniversary!  Yeah, we're definitely going out then too!

Happy Halloween!

We saw our friend Kate's blog, and the pictures were so cute.  So today we went out to Gardner Village just to take some pictures.  They have Halloween in the BAG!!  It's awesome out there.  So much fun stuff to see.  Bree said, "Mom, it's Halloween outside"!  The girls were looking at everyone walking by except for me, but it was fun anyway, and they are so cute!  I might have to go back there to do some shopping now!

Mom, not Mommy

Recently, Bree has started calling me Mom instead of Mommy.  It makes her sound so grown up! And it makes me think twice, because, hey wait, that's what I call my Mom!  I always take a double take, and can't believe she's old enough to call me just MOM.  They grow up so fast don't they.  Sometimes I still can't believe I have children, and especially two sweet little girls, that call me Mom, or Mommy :)  Ok, now that I've typed the word Mom so many times, it's not even looking like a real word anymore!! he...he...he.. 

Sneak Peak

Well, we're no where near done, but I thought I'd give you a sneak peak of my new Living and Laundry rooms.  Basement pictures are yet to come.  Of course, the pictures don't even do it justice!  The colors are so much better in person!  I hope once we get this stuff done, that you can all come and see it for yourselves :)

Dance!

Well, as you all know, Chris' sisters are all into dance.  One teaches Tap, the other Gymnastics, and another all kinds of Dance.  Now that Bree is 3, she is old enough to be in the little dance class.  Chris' sister Marie is teaching this class, and Bree joined three weeks ago.  She has the tiniest feet.  So when we went to buy her Ballet and Tap shoes, we got the very smallest size they make.  I can't believe how cute and tiny they really are.  Tonight I took some pictures of Bree at her class.  We got her first costume, for her two recitals coming up.  I hope she'll want to be up on stage without me :)
