Bree's final Dance Recital of 2009

Saturday night was Bree's 2nd Dance Recital.  I'm sure there will be many more to come.  She's done for summer break, and then they start up again in September.  I know she'll miss it this summer.
Grandma and Grandpa Belnap came down to see her dance.  We had a nice lunch, and then went to the recital.
Grandpa and Elle are reading the program.
Our little family!  We love to support our Bree.
Bree found her friend Cody backstage, and they held hands and played for a little while.
Bree is my sweet girl!
Bree and Cody :)
Waiting to go on!
Their first song was "That doggy in the Window".

She didn't miss a step.  Bree always knows the whole dance.

Backstage again...waiting for our final dance.
"Mickey Mouse's Birthday Party"  was their last dance.
And when she was done, she won a medal for her dance performance this year.
She LOVES the thought that she won a medal.  If it's not too trashed after she plays with it for a while, and even if it is... I think Mom will put it away and save it for her, so that someday, she can look back and see what fun things she did!  We love you Bree!!

Random Happenings

My girls, hanging out, and playing together.  They are such sweet sisters and play really great together.  I'm glad they have each other.
Cute Elle :)
Yesterday, Daddy and Bree fell asleep, for a little, much needed nap.

Eagles Concert

Tonight Chris and I went to the Eagles Concert at Rio Tinto Stadium.  It Rocked!  I can't believe the harmony's and Guitars.  It's so much more fun to see someone play in person.  Two of Chris' nephews and his brother were also there sitting somewhere else in the stadium.

I swear every time Joe Walsh came out to play a song, he had a new guitar in his hand.  I kept telling Chris to look at his guitar.  One of the guitars even looked like Stainless Steel.  Another was a Mosaic Pearl, etc.. etc..  He can really play!!!  It was one of the best concerts I've ever been too :)

Mother's Day

For Mother's Day this year, I wanted to surprise my mom with a little something special.  So we got matching outfits for the grandkids, and got them all together for pictures.  Because my mom is into Genealogy etc.. I thought this would be a fun idea, because it's a little bit of history. I just hope my Mom doesn't look at my blog before tomorrow!  :)

There are 8 Grandkids so far.....and here they are.
I added some pics of my children, so that I could share them with you.  I just LOVE how they turned out.  Adelle's sister Jen, who is a photographer, took the pictures for us.  She was so patient, and did a really great job!

And this is what we came up with for my Mom's gift.  Adelle and I put this collage together, of the group shot, along with a few pictures of all the kids.  I really love the way this turned out, and we framed it for her too.  We liked it so much, that we printed one for each Mom.
Happy Mother's Day MOM!!!  I hope you like it :)

I Love You So

I Snagged this from my friend Wendi's blog!  I think it's great :)

I Love You So.... by Marianne Richmond

I love you

How much?

SO Much

How much is 'so'

WAY, WAY more than you know.....

I love you as brilliant

as each sparkling star,

and as way out as space,

I love you that far

I love you as gigantic

as a great lion's roar,

and as deep as the ocean,

I love you much more.

That is a lot, you say

but how did it start?

Where did love come from

to be in your heart?

You put it there, really,

when you and I met.

And I knew for certain

without you I'd fret.

From my head to my toes,

I was feeling inside

a devotion for you

so deep and so wide.

And now it's enormous

and wonderfully real

and hard to describe

how much I feel.

I love you as awesome

as a thundery sky,

and as soaring as mountains

I love you that high.

I love you as silly

as a puppy dog's kiss

and as quiet as midnight

I love you like this.

Do you love me every day

you ask with doubting awe,

or does love go up 'n down

like teetering see-saw?

I love you as steady

as the earth rounds the sun,

though some days of life

are farthest from fun.

Like when you feel mad

you ask with distress,

cause I've broken the rules

or made a big mess?

Or when I'm unkind

and your feelings are blue,

do you love me although

I do what I do?

I love you being nice,

and when you're cranky, too.

I love you without liking

the naughty things you do.

My 'love you' doesn't change

like the temper of the days.

It's a certain kind of thing

in many different ways.

You're my sweetie,my dear,

my smile and laughter.

you're my playmate for always

and my joy ever after.

Hanging out with you

is where I want to be...

eating ice cream sundaes

or watching the TV.

Under your umbrella,

behind you on a bike.

By you and beside you

is what I really like.

Do you love me just as much

when I'm far away from home?

Is your loving still the same

in distant lands I roam?

I love you near or fare.

I love you high or low.

My love is there with you

Wherever you may go.

Even when I'm sick...

and I can't get out of bed?

Do you love me better healthy

than with fever in my head?

I love you sick or able.

You're always you to me,

the one I love forevermore.

Undeniably.

I can't imagine life

before you came along...

me there singing senseless,

no meaning to my song.

Call it meant to be

or simple blessed fate,

you filled my heart with love...

and for that I celebrate.

I love you

How much?

So much.

How much is 'so'?

Way, way more than you know.

Up Early :)

As most of you know, I am NOT a morning person.  I love to sleep in.  And I never get up, until the kids wake me.  But, this morning, I got up when Chris kissed me goodbye at 6:15am.  Yeah, I know, not like me.  But I've been wanting to find some time to exercise, and when you have small kids, it's almost impossible!  So I got up, and stepped on the Elliptical for 20 minutes! Ok, not so long, but it's a start :)  And then, I looked out the window, and the sun was coming up, and thought I might take a few pictures.  So out on the porch I went.

Here are some beads of dew on the grass!
This Tree across the street caught my eye!
Some sun, peaking through this Tree.
And more wet Grass!
Amazing how beautiful it was outside this morning!  I really need to keep this up!  Especially the exercise :)  he..he..

Happy 88th Birthday Grandma Perkins

Yesterday was my Grandma Perkins 88th Birthday!  We stopped by to wish her Happy Birthday.  My mom made some dinner, and cupcakes.  Grandma didn't want a big party.
Here she is blowing out her candles :)
