Swim Lessons and the Splash Pad

This has been one HOT summer!  

I signed the girls up for swim lessons.  They were held at a private pool, with some amazing instructors.  The girls had semi private lessons.  Pretty much, the two of them had their own teacher all to themselves.  I'm glad, because they got lots of attention and really learned a lot.  

We've also been to the splash pad a few times.  Last night, we took Daddy with us.  

What can I say?  When it's really HOT outside, water activities are the only way to go!!

Bree's Baptism

My Beautiful Bree was Baptized on Saturday!  There was a special spirit all day long.  

I could tell that she was excited, and happy to be baptized.

I'll never forget, that the moment I saw her in the dressing room after she had been baptized, the first thing she said to me was, "Mom, I feel so clean".  

We forgot her towel.  

So I was trying to dry her off with paper towels from the dispensers in the bathroom.

Her confirmation was amazing!  

And when she was confirmed, she shook each man's hand in the circle, and then her dad picked her up and hugged her.  They were cheek to cheek, and she was smiling the most beautiful big smile!  

That is an image I won't forget.  So sweet!!  

I remember thinking that baptism was important before, but suddenly, I wanted to make sure that ALL three of my children are baptized someday.  Now it's more important than ever.  

Bree is a member of the church!  She has the holy ghost to guide her through life.  

I am so proud of her.  I am so happy for her :)

A week at East Canyon, A Birthday, & 4th of July

We spent a whole week up at East Canyon over the 4th of July.  

So much fun was had!  

We took out our new trailer for the first time.

We celebrated Bree's 8th Birthday.

We swam every day!

We had campfires, roasted smores, made tinfoil dinners, & roasted Hotdogs.

We played in the splash pad.

Played mini golf with grandpa.

Bree and Elle rode their bikes.  Bree got her new bike for her birthday.

We dressed up on the 4th and ate the Chuckwagon breakfast at the Lodge.

We played with glow sticks.  Lots and lots of glow sticks!

But mostly, we had an amazing time with the Belnap Family!!

Happy Birthday Bree!  8 is Great :)
