FALL ish things...

So, life has been busy lately.
Mostly because we are STILL painting the house,
and life and Fall are happening,
and the grapes were ready, so I did that for about 4 days...Whew!
Took a break to go to Cornbelly's with the cousins.
And we are STILL painting!!  :)

There are a lot of pics in this post.
Here is our Fall.

Bree was such a big help to me with the grapes this year!
Both of us picked grapes for about 4 hours together, and ended up with 4 huge boxes full.
Then the girls helped to pick the grapes off of the vines for me with the first box.
I think I worked on grapes for 4 long days.  On the last day, I made 10 batches of Jelly!  I didn't take any pictures of the finished bottles and jars, because I was taking them downstairs and putting them away as soon as I could to make space for more.  We ended up with 35 Quarts of Juice, and 76 Jars of Jelly!  Whew!
I love canning, and feeling like I'm doing something good for our family by putting a little food storage on the shelves.  Homemade goodness :)

Ruby helped us bring in some grapes as well.  She loves to spend time outside!

A couple of weekends ago, the girls had their last Soccer games of the Fall Season.
Grandma and Grandpa Belnap came to the games.
It was fun!

The girls have fun playing outside a lot.
Thanks to our neighbors for giving us this super fun Jeep that drives!
The girls love it!

Bree made this cute Art Project for Columbus Day!

I took this pic of the mountains, with fall colors from my backyard.  I zoomed in a bit, but I love how they are only about a mile up the road and we have a great view of them from our backyard!

And one brisk morning, the girls asked to play in the backyard.
They found a few Fall leaves and had a blast!
There are many more leaves now, so I guess they can help Daddy rake them soon!

Ruby has been so darn cute lately!
I am freaking out, that she is growing up so fast.
She is my last baby, and she has just turned 2!
I'm going to miss having tiny kids :)
I just love my sweet girls!

Feeding her baby..

Princess Castle in the Tub..

Wearing sister's tiny backpack.  But it doesn't look tiny on Ruby..

Eating a doughnut..

Getting out of the Bath..

Sleeping in Mommy's arms..

And we took a day off of painting the house, to go play at Cornbelly's with some Family!
It was a super fun day!
Some of the BEST Fall Activities we love :)

House Remodel Update Almost there....

Our Home Project has taken a long time.
I didn't realize how much work it was until I was helping Chris to Prime all of our new wood the past two days.  Chris has worked tirelessly for weeks.
I think I have a better appreciation for what he's been doing.
The last two days, we both painted until we were sore!
We are in the home Stretch.
In a couple of days, we are going to paint EVERYTHING!!
Every wall, trim, baseboard, box, etc.. on the whole main floor.  I'm terrified!  It's hard work, and it will probably take 2, or 3, or 4 days :)
I am getting super excited for the finished product!
Here are a few pictures of the wood all primed!  Everything that is primed, and then all window, and door trims, and baseboards, will be painted a cream color.  Everything else will be a brown color called Bread Basket.
These pictures give you a better idea of how things are going to look.
It's coming together.  And then the fun part.  Curtains, and decorating!  And a couple new closet doors.  It's going to be done before the Holidays, so that makes me super happy!

Ruby turns 2! and the Huntsville 10K

Yesterday was quite exciting!
It was my baby's Birthday.  Yes, Ruby turned 2!
And most of the family were running, or walking in the Huntsville 10K!
Some of my pictures are a little bit out of order, but you get the idea :)

My Birthday Girl!

We've had this 10K on the books for a long long time.  I trained and was so ready for the Ogden Half Marathon, but lately, life has gotten in the way, and I was totally NOT ready.  But I actually pulled off quite a fast time for me, considering, I haven't been exercising.

Yes, I was left in the dust.  I was the very last person in the 10K to cross the finish line, but I made it.
Thanks to my sister in laws, brother and sister for walking with me the whole way.  It was nice that I wasn't all alone.  I think I have some serious work to do.  It's an on going battle.  But I'll get there.

It rained... actually poured almost the whole entire time, with very small breaks.
But I'm so glad that so many of us were there together!  And my sister in law Adelle's family had a huge showing as well.  After the 10K, we all had lunch and celebrated Ruby's birthday together.  I had a great time.  I love spending time with family.  And it was nice to get out in the fall weather also.  All of the leaves are changing, and the route went along the shores of Pineview.  It was awesome!!

Doug, Mom, and Dax all placed in their races.  Doug came in 1st in his age group for the 10K, Mom came in 2nd for her age group for the 5K, and Dax came in 3rd in his age group for the 10K!

Some of the kids were signed up for the kids race, including my girls.
Well, most everyone got really wet racing, and some of the kids played in the rain and were soaked.  So everyone else went home to get warm and dry.  But Bree was serious about racing.  She didn't want to go home.  We'd been talking about it for weeks, and she was going to participate!  So we stuck around.  Bree and Elle ran the kids race.  It was short, but they were proud of themselves.  They got to cross the finish line that all of the adult racers crossed.  They were handed creamies, water, and Sunny D!  They even got Tshirts.
They were so happy.  I'm glad we stayed and let them race!

See.... I told you these were out of order :)

Camber!

Look who is TWO!

After the race, it was time to picnic, and have a Birthday Party!

Ruby and her Cake

My sister in law Adelle, is amazing.  She made the cutest cake for Ruby.  And I'm here to tell you that as cute as it is, it tastes even better! :)

A trip to the Mountains, & Team Soccer Pics

Last weekend after Soccer games, we packed up the truck, a picnic, and drove up to the Uinta's Soapstone area where some of Chris' family were camped.  We only spent the day, and evening, but the girls had an amazing time.  I love Utah in the Fall.  The leaves are starting to change and the air is crisp.  In fact, on our way home that night, it was only 47degrees.
I had a chance to play with my camera, which is one of my favorite things to do, the girls played croquet with Grandma Bump Bump, and Cousin Roy, and Uncle Mark.
We found Eeyore's home.
Played hide n seek, and talked around the campfire.
My girls love camping, and I'm pretty sure, we were all wishing, that we had had our trailer, so that we could have spent the night.
It was my mother in law's 85th Birthday, so the girls took her some cards they had made.
It was a really nice day :)

And today, a week later, we had more soccer games, and Team Pictures.  I ordered some pictures for the girls, but I also took a few of my own just for fun.
Love my little soccer stars :)
