Getting Ready for Christmas

Getting ready for the Holidays!

Chris putting up the lights on the house.  The girls one and only Primary Program all THREE together.  Getting the yard work done before winter.  The Super Moon.  The first Snowfall.
And decorating the tree and house for Christmas.

Putting up Christmas lights, before it snows.

This was the one and only Sunday where the girls would all have a part in the Primary Program together.  It was Bree's last Primary program, because she is turning 12 and will soon be in Young Women's.  Elle's first time up on the stand and giving a speaking part, because she is so shy.  And Ruby's first Program, because she is a Sunbeam.
I called grandma last minute, (literally), and they were able to come.
It was a wonderful Sacrament Meeting!!

Turning over the garden, and raking leaves.  We need to get the yard ready for Winter!

Decorating for the Holidays!

The Super Moon!!
Pics from my camera.

The first Snowfall of the year!

Bree has Choir 2 early mornings a week until the Christmas Break.
So Elle and I walked to the bus stop together on the first snowfall day of the year.

The holidays are coming, and my favorite Ice Cream is on the shelves!!

Some of our favorite ornaments!

Another beautiful Sunday morning!
Three of my favorite people right here!!

Some Fall Happenings

A visit to Station Park
Ruby and I started our Christmas shopping.

Love this little person.
We can't live without her.  She makes our lives complete.
She has a way of making us all SMILE!

Chris came home early from work one day, and took us for a little hike.
The weather will be cold and wintery soon, and this is a good chance to spend some quality time out doors before winter sets in.

Chris brought me some flowers for our Anniversary!
Some of my favorite colors :)

Our little Mermaid!

The girls had a major school fundraiser, called the Apex Legends Fun Run.
They had to get pledges, and run laps at school.
They were amazing, and Ruby and I went and took pictures and watched as the girls ran for a very long time!!

After the Fun Run, Ruby and I stayed for a while, so she could play at the School playground.

Ruby loves to help me cook now.
She helps to measure the ingredients and mix things together.
We made Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Muffins, and French Bread all in one day!

My girls school pics this year.
Ruby is 4 and not in school yet, but next year, she will start Preschool at East Layton.

Elle 8 years,  3rd grade

Bree 11 years, 6th grade

October ish.. catching up!

I haven't blogged since Halloween!!  Yikes, and it's now April.
Ok,  I'm going to catch up!

We had a day off of school over UEA, so I took the girls to Build a Bear, where they each redeemed some gift cards for outfits for their bears, and then we had some lunch and went to our Favorite Park!

I found a new recipe for Rolls.  They turned out so YUMMY!
I made everything from scratch for dinner that night.
The Rolls, soup, and even the Jelly we had on our Rolls was made from the grapes in our backyard.
I was feeling pretty domestic!

The girls have started taking gymnastics and dance.
Elle takes gymnastics on Thursday nights and Bree takes dance on Tuesday nights.
Elle is in heaven!  She works hard, and wants to get really good someday.
I love that it gives her some great exercise, and she can develop some skills.
Aleigha is in her class, but wasn't here the night they took pictures and wore mustaches!

Elle is working on her fear of heights.  The beam is a bit hard for her, but she is so much more improved even now!

Bree has only taken dance one other time, when she was 3 years old.  However, it kind of runs in Chris' family.   All the sisters, and nieces take dance and are really good.
Bree comes from the same mold.
We started her out in a beginning class, but she is a natural, so they have moved her up.
I just love the class and the girls she is with now!
Next year, they want to put her in an even more advanced class, where they train 2 days a week, for a total of 4 hours.  They will train in Ballet, strength, tumbling, and dance.
She really loves it, and wants to do it!  We will make it happen :)

Hat day at school.
Here are the 4 6th grade kids that ride the bus in the mornings in their hats!
