Well, today we took a late afternoon Sunday drive. We ended up in the Uintahs at the Provo River Falls, after a quick stop for snacks and playing at the park in Heber City. It was so nice to get out doors. We've been working so hard on the house. The girls had a total blast. Elle dipped her feet into the water and was squeaking with joy to see the waterfalls. Bree just wanted to climb around on all the rocks. Tomorrow and Wednesday some of our floors will be put down, and carpet shortly after that. We still have a lot of work to do, but we just had to make some time to play and have fun too :)

So grownup!
I can't believe how big my girls are getting. It happens way too fast! We were outside working in the yard yesterday, and Elle was riding in Bree's old car. I can't believe she's big enough for it. Can't they just stay little a lot longer?! Today is Stake Conference, and we got up and had a great breakfast. Bree is totally into stories right now. She wants to read books, and always mom and dad to tell her a story before bed. We make up stories about her playing in her princess castle in the backyard, or going to Lagoon etc.. She loves the stories we come up with about the things she's been doing. But today being Sunday, I told her that Daddy would get out the scriptures and tell us the story of Jonah and the Whale. She could hardly eat breakfast, she wanted to go right now, and hear the story. I hope I can teach my children all the things they need to know and should know. I hope I can teach them how important the gospel is, and how important it is to go to church etc... I just hope they learn from Chris and my example, and always choose the right.

Playing in the Backyard
I know most of you are sending your kids off to school again, but my little ones are still too little. It doesn't break my heart any, because I get to spend my days with them instead of someone else. Elle is getting so excited to get moving and try to keep up with her older sister Bree. Here are a few pictures we took in the backyard the other day. They just love to play!

P.S.
Oh yeah, by the way, the really good news is, that even with this last wopper of a storm, our basement stayed bone dry! Yeah, I guess so far, the money we spent on the drainage system, and the fact that our yard looks like crap right now, was well worth it! And p.s. here are a few more pictures of the house :)
Our house
Ok, When you're renovating your house and living in basically the bedrooms, and kitchen, the days go by a little slower than you'd like. But ahhh, a light at the end of the tunnel. Here are some pictures of our house, the way it looks now. Totally torn apart. Gutted if you will. But that just means, that tomorrow, we make THE CALL! We schedule the tile and Laundry room and bathroom floors! YAHOO!!! Then a few days later, the Carpet!! I can't wait! Hopefully, within a weeks time, we are looking at a whole new house :) Yeah! And then I can start decorating. New living room furniture, laundry and TV room curtains, pillows, etc... Oh yeah, I still have to paint the Laundry room and maybe bathroom too. But, we're seeing progress, and that's a good feeling. So there you have it. My life, living in a couple of rooms. Can't wait to expand my horizons! And move all the rest of my stuff back in. :)

Game Day!
Well, it's officially Fall... College Football is underway. Yep, it's Game Day! And we Love our Cougars down here in Utah County :) And other places too. Our little family all got T-shirts this year, so we could support the Cougars. I've only got a picture of the girls right now, but when mommy and daddy are done working in our basement grubies, we'll have to put ours on too. Go BYU Cougars!

My cute little babies!
So, my sister Jen, lent me this awesome ride for two. The girls love to be in it together. I take them for walks around the neighborhood. Two days ago, when this was taken we walked down the the park in our neighborhood. It was too hot to go down the slide, but Bree climbed all over the toys, and rode on the swings. Little Elle will have to get a bit bigger, before she can join in. I can see it in her eyes, that Elle just can't wait until she's up and running along with her big sister.
