Elle's 2nd Birthday Party

Tomorrow is Elle's Birthday! December 1st! So maybe tomorrow, I'll post a few of my favorite pictures of her. But last night, we had a Birthday Party for her. Just her Grandma's and Grandpa came. It was a lot of fun. So relaxed. We had an awesome dinner :)

She had a Pink Poodle in Paris Party. I'm not sure why I picked this. It just looked fun for her. And also, I told mom, that with her curly curly hair, Elle is OUR little Poodle :) So it was a great theme.

Elle wasn't sure at first if she was supposed to tear into the paper on her presents or not? Would she get in trouble? She was so cute!


A little band set was the first thing she opened. It was enough to keep her busy most of the night. She probably wouldn't even have needed anything more :) She also got a baby doll and baby quilt, that grandma Lorna made. And a Keyboard, and Jack-in-the-box, from her grandma Bump Bump, and a Doodle Pad from us. She had a great Birthday!!


The Cake! What can I say. I'm not that creative when it comes to making cakes. I like to buy them. But homemade just tastes so much better :)

Thanksgiving at the Belnap's

Yesterday Thanksgiving was awesome! It was just so relaxed. I had such a good time talking with all of my siblings and my grandma too. My grandma's are getting older, and it's just nice to see them.

Nicholas took Elle out in the backyard for a little while. Needless to say, she did NOT want to come in later. But it was a little cold outside. She just loves to play out doors.

Boxes

Boxes! What can I say. Do you remember when you were little, and your parents got a new appliance, or something that came in a really big box. Boxes can have so many uses. Forts, Houses, Cars, etc..etc.. It seems to be the simple things in life, that give us such joy. And tons of hours of playtime :)

Tonight we decorated the Tree

Today we decided to put up the Tree. The girls were so cute, helping us, and playing around us as we put up the Tree. Bree had been waiting all day. But we decided that we would wait until Elle was asleep to put the ornaments on. She's just into everything, and we were told once, that if they don't see you put them on, that they won't really know they come off too. It totally worked with Bree. So, hopefully, when Elle sees the Tree next time, with all of the ornaments on, she will just assume, that they were already on there :) Let's hope it really works with her too!!!

Bree is so cute! Jumping all around today, talking about Santa, and she just can't wait....can't wait for Christmas! This year I bought an Advent Calendar. Bree doesn't really know time yet, so this will help us to count down the days until Santa comes, and she won't wonder so much why it seems to be taking forever! She will be able to see each day as we count them down.

And as you can see, there IS a Turkey hanging in the background :) We haven't forgotten about Thanksgiving!! YUM!

Fun Outdoors Today

It has been such a nice week this week! The weather is just beautiful. So today the girls and I went out to play in the backyard. The leaves are falling off the trees, the sun is out, and it's just amazing! I sat there with my eye's closed, face in the Sun, just soaking up this amazing day! I just might have to go back out there!!

I love this shot. Bree was making Leaf Angels, and laying down in the leaves. Elle decided she was going to join in :)


We never got around to carving our Pumpkins, so I guess they'll be around for Thanksgiving!

Family Photo Shoot

We just got our Family Pictures taken again, and I think they turned out Incredible! Thanks to Jennifer Tanner at "The shoot shoppe"!

Elle wasn't being very cooperative, but I was amazed when we got our photo's back, to find that there were so many great ones. It's going to be hard to choose!
