Bree's new Room

After a whole week, and a whole LOT of work, we finished Bree's room. Painting at 3am once....I almost went postal :) ha..ha.. Just ask Chris. After falling asleep on the floor in Bree's room, and waking up to another coat around the closet doors, I almost lost it. I just wanted to crawl in bed. But we had a deadline to meet. Aunt Camber was bringing us her old bedroom set, and I wanted to be ready for it. It's the cutest little furniture I've ever seen. Just perfect for Bree and her room. Love it!!
Complete with wall decals, and wall hangings and a cute rug.... we're just waiting for our little pink flower wall clock to come :)
Bet you can't guess what Bree's favorite color is? hmmm.. anyone? PINK!
Even though her new floor lamp is turned on and you can't see....each little lamp shade is a different shade of PINK!!
Bree's bookshelf came, and when Chris put it together, it was just as cute, or maybe even cuter in person!!
A couple of cute flower hooks, for hats, backpacks, etc...
And the curtains match her new quilt.
Oh man, I hope I don't get any ideas about Elle's room any time soon :) I need to rest.

Movies and Monte Cristo

This weekend, while my family were playing at the PVYC, we took a different route. Chris wanted to see some movies, and go exploring....so, we did. First, we took the girls to see Toy Story 3. They really enjoyed the movie, and it was fun to take them to the Theatre.

Then on Saturday, we drove down to Pleasant Grove, and went to one of our favorite little places to eat....Taco Amigo. Chris gets the Triple Cheese Burger, while Bree and I get Tacos. The fries are totally yummy!!! Then we dropped the girls off at Grandma Bump Bump's, so that Chris and I could go see Inception at the Theatre. It was fun to be on a date.

Yesterday, we put a Roast in the Crock Pot, and headed out. Chris is searching for some more awesome camping spots, where we can ride the 4 wheelers in places we've never seen before. New Territory. So, we went to explore without our trailer behind us. We went up to Monte Cristo.
We stopped at the camp grounds to eat some lunch. It was beautiful, except for the Zillions of flies, who also thought our lunch smelled yummy. Needless to say, we ate pretty quickly, and put the food away :)

My sweet little girls make me smile :) Every time I look at them, I can't believe that they are mine! Little precious souls in my care. I LOVE these babies so so much!!!

The people I LOVE the most in the world :) My family!! Aren't they so cute!!!
Bree is getting to be a good photographer :) Now if I could loose a few!
I surprised the girls with a bag of toys from Oriental Trading. Bree cracks me up in these hilarious glasses :)
Okay, so when we go up to camp, this is our turnoff :) Don't forget the 4 wheelers too. There are a ton of trails!
A picture looking down from Monte Cristo, on our way home. So beautiful.
And going over Trappers Loop...... A quick shot of Snow Basin. I kind of missed my family this weekend, but we had some great adventures of our own. Sometimes it's nice to be with your own little family. And a lot more quiet :)

A Room Makeover

Bree is graduating from her Toddler Bed to a Twin bed set that we're getting from her Aunt Camber. Right now Bree doesn't even have her own dresser. But the new Bedroom Set she is getting has a Dresser and Night Stand that match the bed. Yea!

We just thought we would give you a little preview, and then when we're done with her new room, we'll have to post some new pics :)

Her Quilt set :) Yea for Pottery Barn Kids!
Our Color Pallets :)

For the most part, we would stick with the darker colors, but on the bottom Pallet, we would use just the darkest color.

Here is the super cute Shelf, that I just ordered for Bree's Room :)
And here are a few items we picked up today. Something for the walls, a cute rug, and pillow. We also bought some flower stickies for the walls, a light plate cover, and the cutest Piggy Bank. You know there will be matching curtains too. And once we get her new dressers, we may have to change out the hardware. You know it will be PINK!!

Totally can't wait for this makeover :) I'll keep you posted with pictures to come!

A week of total fun!

Well, the secret is out! We bought a second 4 wheeler. We got it a week before we went on this last trip, so I guess we've had it for 2 weeks now. Chris wouldn't let me say anything until after the trip. He wanted to show up at the Jorgensen Family Camp Out and surprise everyone.
But before we went, I took some pics in our backyard. Now we basically have a matching set. They are the same brand, and both are foot shifters, and of course RED. The newer one is 3 years newer than Chris' other 4 wheeler. Yahoo!!!

Our Campsite up at Fairview.
Dinner time :) Chicken and Mashed Potatoes out camping....yeah!
The girls both LOVE to ride :) They each have a helmet, but we've not been able to ride as a family for quite some time. We had to take turns and leave someone at camp. Well, not anymore. I think we went on more rides this trip than all of last year. It's just a lot more fun when we can all go together. And that's why we're so excited to have a second machine :)

Fairview has many man made lakes. And on one of our rides, we stopped and took some snacks down by the shoreline. We sat for a long time while the girls threw rocks in the water. Chris said, he just felt so relaxed. Yeah, we were just doing nothing and having a fabulous time!

Our camp from on top of a trail far away. Wow, what a zoom lens can do! Our trailer is the one on the top right, with the awning out. We had a bunch of trailers, all hiding in the trees :)
Campfires were fun for sure. Everyone talking about the day. Roasting Marshmellows, and having a great time.

One of our group rides. There is a whole trail system, with practice loops, and trails that go all over and around the valley we camped in. We took a new trail...a long trail...., that lead us up to Skyline Drive.

Bree taking a juice break...
Mommy and Elle, stretching our legs....
The MOVIE! We put up a huge screen on one of the trailers, and watch a movie with speaker surround, etc... This years selection....."Mrs. Doubtfire".
Making enough Popcorn for about 100 people :) YUM!!
This picture is SPECIAL to me!!! I think the last time the whole family...Marvin, Lois, and all 10 kids were in a picture together, was when Chris was a baby...about a year old. It's the only one I think. And when Chris was 11 years old, his father died. Then when Chris was home from his mission, the kids got together and got their picture taken for their mom, but it was just the kids. I haven't seen a picture with all of them since. So as a special request from me....I gathered Lois and all 10 of her children for a picture. Some of them weren't too happy, but HEY...this is huge!!! So, here is Chris, with his MOM, and all 9 siblings! Wow! I'm so happy, and I know that someday they will be too!!!!!
The craft table....

Games, and prizes for the little kids :)
Our Saturday afternoon POTLUCK! Tons of food, and fun :)
The group site we reserved, had two huge and I mean huge...long....picnic tables that were awesome... enough room for our huge family! And I think this years family Camp Out was a huge success. Of course not everyone was there....But....It's one of those times next to Christmas and Thanksgiving, that the whole family gets together! Whew! I love it!!!!
