Lights

This is the sweetest guy on the planet!! I love him so much :) Today he spent a long time putting lights on our house. He tried the other day, and it was too icy and dangerous. One side of our house is very tall. Today was a nice day, but still very cold, and I went outside for a while to help hold a tall ladder, so he would feel a little bit more safe.

When we were looking at this picture, Chris commented, that you don't even see how high up he really is...
My pictures don't do it justice. But when you see it in person, the colors are amazing, and so much fun!! The girls think it's pretty neat. And I guess it's for us, but mostly for them :) Happy Holidays!

Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow!!

Oh man, both of my girls have colds. Elle didn't sleep at all two nights ago. But I just couldn't keep them indoors. Not with all this White Stuff in the yard :) I remember being that age, and staying outside for hours and hours, even after all of my siblings had gone inside. And then when I finally decided to go in, Mom would have a giant pot of homemade hot chocolate on the stove to warm us up! Those were the days. Not a care in the world. Only playing on the mind.

Chris just happens to LOVE the snow too. It's his favorite time of the year. So, with that, the 3 loves of my life went out to play last night. And I snapped few pictures from the back door :) I can't wait for this long 4 day Holiday weekend, that we get to spend together!! I AM truly Blessed! And I AM truly Thankful!

Holiday and Birthday Pictures

I can't believe that Elle is going to turn 3 in about a week and a half! December 1st :) Wow, how can she be this big already? She is the most loving little girl on the planet. And while we were at it, I thought I'd get a 2 for 1, by taking Bree along, and getting some Holiday Pictures done too. If you're on Facebook, you've probably already seen them. But here are some of my favorites!

If there were two little things I am grateful for this Thanksgiving Season, it's my two little girls! Happy Holidays!

Goings on....

Oh, I've got to admit that the past few days have been busy, eventful, and tiring. I'm so behind in the house cleaning. I wish a cleaning fairy would just come to my house, and take care of it for me. Chris worked nearly 70 hours last week. And I've been at my mom's all night long for the past two nights helping her with some painting, and giving her moral support on the project she is working on :) So I still feel like I haven't seen my husband much lately. We've already secured a babysitter for Saturday, so no worries. We ARE going to spend some time together soon.

I've been listening to all the Christmas music I can get my hands on. I just love this time of year, and there is so much good music that we only listen to about 2 or 3 months out of the year. So, I'm not wasting any time!

I cut myself some bangs about two weeks ago. After probably about 15 years of no bangs, I just did it. I think I like them. It's always nice to try something new. I've put a couple of pictures on here.

My Elle is going to be 3 in just a couple of weeks. December 1st! She's getting so big. I think I still treat her like a baby sometimes even though I know she's getting big. But, she IS my baby. I'm taking the girls in to get some pictures taken tomorrow morning. Elle's bangs are getting so long. All of her hair really is long, but you just don't notice so much, because those curls are so tight! But lately it's started to hang into her eye's. So today we tried a new hairdo on her too! I love it :) So I guess we'll pull it up for her pictures tomorrow. Man, she's cute! If I don't say so myself.

Bree loves school. And when she gets home, she is always asking about what kinds of things we can do that are fun. Here are the girls coloring some turkey place mats, and doing Thanksgiving stickers. I have some really fun crafts that we're going to do together soon. It looks like I'm going to have to be creative from now on, and keep the good ideas coming!
Hats, hats, and more hats :) I just love snow clothes. I think I've bought the girls at least 4 hats each for this season. I just can't help it. There are so many cute ones out there. I would love to get more....but just what purpose would that serve? Anyway, here they are trying on some of the ones we just got. So cute!!
Here is an awesome view from my front porch. I just love the Fall leaves, with the snow in the background. We can't wait for it to snow here. Our family loves the snow! Chris used to be an avid Snowmobiler, with some pretty expensive sleds. But when you get married and have little babies, things kind of change. And he sold his sled and trailer. But a few weeks ago, we bought an old snowmobile that we can play with this year. Pulling the girls in their sled, and giving them rides. Maybe an occasional day up in the mountains. I'm really excited! The sled isn't fast, or lightweight, or expensive. You might even say, it's a bit on the nostalgic side, but it's just right for family play time :) I'm looking forward to it.
We have a lot of awesome, huge, tree's in both the front and backyards. And oh, how pretty they have been lately. But the leaves have fallen, and now it's time to clean it all up. Wow, I think we need like 20 garbage cans, and not just the 2 that we have. Good thing Chris has a leaf blower/sucker, that chews them up into tiny little bits, so that we can fit a lot more into the same space! We fill our cans every week. But there are always more leaves. Is it ever going to end? ha..ha..
The girls sure have enjoyed playing in the leaves!! And of course, I'm out there with my camera getting lots of fun memories.

Okay, so we're getting down to it. Most of the leaves have fallen, and I hope we can catch up on the cleanup soon. Yes, there are still many piles in the backyard. But we're working on them. We really are. Chris has tomorrow off, and is going to work in the yard, and put up the Christmas lights on the house. It's going to storm again this weekend, and tomorrow is supposed to be the warm day before the storm. So I hope we can get everything done. And I guess that's the goings on around here!

7 Years!

Okay, so it's past midnight, and officially, November 7th 2010. Today is Chris and My Wedding Anniversary.

7 Years!!!

We actually celebrated a whole month early, because that's when my mom could take the girls overnight. The past 7 years have been a dream come true for me. Chris and I were talking, and 7 years, is actually starting to sound like a long time now.

Back when I was single, I would say my prayers, and talk to my Father in Heaven.....and we had a deal. Well, lets just say, I KNEW my Heavenly Father was going to deliver when it came to finding my eternal companion. On this one thing in particular, I never doubted. I had complete faith that I would not be let down. And I wasn't! I got married a little older than most. But I was willing to wait. Even if that meant not getting married in this life. Which is what it started to feel like. And I would have been okay with that, as long as my Prince Charming would find me sometime. I'm not really sure why I deserve such blessings.

Now looking back, I know why I had to wait. But at the time, I had no idea. My BEST friend from High School, got married, and divorced. Chris' good friend from High School got married and then was widowed. They met online. Got married, and combined their two families. At the time I remember thinking.....geez, I can't believe my best friend has been married twice now, and I still haven't found the right one once! ha..ha.. Then they introduced Chris and I to each other. Let's just say, that I'm glad Chris is so faithful, and listens to that still small voice. He told me, that he knew he was supposed to ask me to marry him. He had been told, just like he was told he needed to go on his mission. It wasn't him, and it wasn't me, it was the spirit. And I'm so glad Chris listened to it!

We do everything together. We don't want to be apart. I didn't think it was possible to love someone so much! To love everything about them. Every freckle, his voice, crooked toes, you name it, I love it. I told my Heavenly Father that I wanted the perfect guy! Now we all know that no one is perfect. But you see, Chris IS perfect. He's perfect for me!!!!! My Heavenly Father delivered the perfect guy to me, as promised in our deal :)

Once I told a girl friend, that I was going to marry the perfect guy, and that we were going to live in total Bliss forever. She laughed at me, and said that I was crazy. That kind of stuff doesn't happen, she told me. But when you trust in the Lord, everything is possible. I'll tell you what.....when the Lord makes a promise, he always keeps it. Just like when we live the commandments!

I feel like I want to bear my testimony. I don't do it at church, because I'm too scared to stand up in sacrament. But I KNOW my Savior lives, and that Heavenly Father IS our Father. I have complete trust and faith in him. I know that every commandment given to us, is for our good. He loves us, and wants us to be happy. I know that by living the commandments, we can feel peace. Knowing that the blessings will be far greater than we could possibly imagine. I have been so blessed throughout my life so far. I always recognize the Fathers hand in my life, and once I see it, I don't hesitate to thank him always! I'm so grateful for the atonement. I'm so grateful to live in such a wonderful country, and to have so much. I am grateful for the best parents and relatives and for my two beautiful little girls. And I am so grateful for my husband. The one person I can't wait to spend eternity with. I am grateful for a living prophet, and for the dedication of each and every person who serves in the church. I hope that we can all be good examples to each other. I know that the eternal family is of the MOST importance. I could go on and on, but I say these things in the name of Jesus Christ, amen.

I just want my HF to know, that I am eternally grateful for Chris, Bree, and Elle. They are my whole world. I love them! Happy Anniversary babe! 7 years, and counting..... Forever!

Pretty Dress

So this morning I got up, and gave the girls their baths, and Elle just looked so clean and pretty. I have been thinking about getting her pictures taken soon, because she'll turn 3 in a month.

So after we took Bree to school, we headed down to the Mall to Kiddie Kandids. They say that walk in's are welcome. But I'm not so sure about that. We got there, and they told me that we'd have to wait 2 hours. Are you kidding me? Like a 2 year old is going to wait two hours to get her picture taken. And by then, I'd have to pick Bree up from Kindergarten. Well, that was disappointing for sure!

When we got home, I thought I'd just take Elle out in the backyard for a little photo shoot of our own. OK, and now you can see why we need them professionally done :) So....I'm going to have to figure something else out. Either by making a real appointment at Kiddie Kandid's, or somewhere else.

But this little girl is the cutest thing ever, anyway!!!!

This weekend

Well, not all of these pictures were taken this weekend, but I had a few that I didn't post before, so I thought I'd do it all in one shot.

The girls in their Halloween attire....
A few weeks ago, we picked the grapes from our backyard. My parents came over to help, and lend me their juicer. Even Grandpa got in on the action!! We have a lot of juice and jelly to show for it!

Kycen Wallberg!!! My newest little nephew. He is my little sister's first baby. He's 2 months old already, and I hadn't seen him since the hospital. He's so cute, tiny, and soft! What a wonderful little guy! All babies are such a miracle, and so totally amazing!
My little sister Camber and Kycen :)
A Belnap Family Halloween Party. Everyone came over last night and we partied until I dropped!

And my two little Avatars, Playing in the leaves today.

Daddy is getting ready to take the Avatars Trick or Treating. In the Pouring Rain!!!
And they're off!

Back with the loot :)

Wow, hot chocolate! We're gonna need that! Look at Elle's hair. When it gets wet, the curls get even better!!! Happy Halloween everyone. Till next year :)
