Turning 38!

Well, tomorrow is my birthday.  It seems to fall on the holiday about every other year.  My husband has to work, so it will be an ordinary day for us.  So we celebrated on Saturday instead.  Chris took me and the girls out to eat.  And then we went to this cute little barn that we found in November while we were staying up in Midway for our Anniversary.  I had seen some awesome decorative measuring cups, that I had really wanted.  Chris remembered and said that we could go get them for my birthday.  I just happened to find some cute little plates too :)  I LOVE decorating the house!  Just the weekend before, when we were at my mom's, she had sent me home with a wrapped present, knowing that she wouldn't see me on my birthday. Well, I opened it this weekend too.  I just couldn't wait!!  She found a cute table lamp, that matches the new curtains in my living room as if they had come together.  Wow, how did she find it?  And the fact that we needed more light in that room, just makes it even more perfect! Thanks mom!!  And I can't forget to tell you, that Chris' sister Maurene sent me a birthday card in the mail, with a little spending money.  She never forgets my birthday.  Thanks Maurene!!  I always feel like such a Queen on my birthday.  I'm always remembered!  But I can't believe I'm turning 38.  I feel more like 28 :) he..he..
