Cherry Creek

This weekend, we went on our first camping trip of the season. The weather was awesome! It's a place that's close to home...only an hour and a half drive. Cherry Creek. Near the Sand Dunes. We went with Chris' family. We had 7 trailers total.

Elle didn't care much for her helmet, but she knew she couldn't ride without one. What a cute little face.

Me and the girls, getting ready for a ride. We got a new seat from my parents for the 4 wheeler. It's awesome. Bree can ride in back, and I know she won't fall off!

We bought some new kites before we left, and they really came in handy. We flew them a few times, and the girls had a total blast.
Elle is flying her kite all by herself. Every time the wind would pull her, she would shriek.
Bree is flying her kite. Mommy is just there for moral support :)
Oh yeah, and one of the favorite past times. Playing in the dirt, and sand. Good thing we keep the sand toys in the trailer!

Elle loves to ride! Today on our last ride, she fell asleep, and Daddy had to hold her head on the trip back.

We borrowed a 4 wheeler from Chris' brother, so that we could all go together, and took the girls to the sand dunes. We took some snacks and Sand Toys along. Bree loved running up the huge hills of sand. And Elle loved scooping the amazing super fine, sand into her buckets. I think one of our new goals, is to get another 4 wheeler, so that we can all go on rides together.

Campfire time! The day is winding down. And so has our trip. We're home, and can't wait for the next one.
