Yesterday

Yesterday Daddy took the day off, so that we could do a little yard work. The girls were helping in their own way, and also having a fabulous time playing outside!

Look at both of my girls on the swings! We put the baby swing away, and Elle is so grown up, swinging like her sister. I can't believe how fast they are getting big!

So our Realtor has told us, that one of the reasons people gave for not buying our house, was that the yard scared them off. As you know we put a drainage system around the house, and we still haven't re-landscaped.

Two truck loads of dirt later, and the trenches are full again. They had sunk a bit. But who wants to put grass in, when you know you're going to have to pack it down, and let it settle. So I guess after 2 years, it's time. Once we get it all raked flat, we will put some grass seed, and hope that when the grass grows, it will blend without looking crazy :)
The girls had to get some little garden shovels, dig in the dirt, and feel like they were helping daddy :)
Hopefully, one day, you won't even be able to tell that anything ever happened!!
