When Bree was one year old, I was visiting my brother and his wife in the hospital, because they had just had their first baby. I stopped by the gift shop to get something for them, and bought this little dog for Bree as well. From the first moment I saw it, I thought, Bree would love it. And she has!
Doggy has spent EVERY night with Bree since then. It's been 4 years now. And Doggy is still her very best friend. If he is missing, the whole world stops. The other night, Bree threw up all over her room. All over Doggy. I had to take him to be washed. Every now and then I tell her that I need to wash Doggy, and it doesn't go over so well. She cries, and I tell her it won't be long, and they will be back together. He's been on every camping trip, and to so many places with us. So here he is.....clean once again. She carried him all over the house when she got him back from the laundry. I'm glad he's holding up nicely.
Someday, when she grows out of this stage, Doggy will take his place in her special box. With things I'm saving for her when she is grown up and gone. But for now, he is her Very Best Friend! And he's not going anywhere, anytime soon :)

So cute! The throw up thing not so much, but I've been there. Stuffed animals aren't so easy to clean!
That is such a cute little buddy. :) Glad we got to see you yesterday and let the girls play. It is always fun to get together! Can't believe it might be Thanksgiving before we get together again. Lots of fun things to look forward too. Lets plan a Disney trip! It would be so fun.
Yes....agree....let's do a Disney trip. Doug and I have been wanting to go for 3 years now...just haven't been able to make it happen. Let's plan next October...UEA is Oct. 20-21 in 2011. That way the school age kids wouldn't miss as much school.
Amy still has here "bear" from that age. I think she took it on her honeymoon, but don't tell her I told you that. HA HA HA!!
