A trip to the Zoo

Today we played hooky, stayed home from work and school, 

because Daddy took the day off to take us to the Zoo!

I think it was much more fun than the everyday.

And going during the week was fun.

We watched the Elephants eat their lunch!

And of course, we rode the train.  

The train went right by the Zebra's, Giraffe's, and some Ostriches! 

We also rode the Merry Go Round!

Each girl picked the animal she wanted to ride.

Even if they weren't next to each other.

I think one of my favorite exhibits, are the sea lions.  

I love water, and it's so fun to watch them swim!

I think we went back to see them at least three different times during the day.

This cute Polar Bear is gone now.  

But they have two new ones to replace her.  

Can't wait to go back again and see them.

The Brown Bears were very playful.  Chasing after each other and swimming.

So fun to watch.

Ruby walked most of the day, but got to ride on the wagon too!

The Tigers were trying to stay hidden, but I managed to get this shot with my Zoom lens.

We brought our lunch, and had a picnic, and it was just a really nice day

to spend together as a family!
