Family time, Ruby's first church talk, Jr. High Registration, New Beginnings

Saturday's we like to spend time as a family.
It usually involves eating out too.

So we took a trip into Ogden to eat at El Matador, made our way to
Rainbow Gardens for some window shopping, and then through Ogden Canyon,
past the waterfall, up to Pineview, around Trappers Loop, and back home.

Ruby gave her first talk in Primary.
It was so cute!!

I try to keep moving, but sometimes I'm not successful.
And other times, I am...

Ruby has rarely let me do her hair.
That's why I cut bangs, because it helps to keep her hair out
of her face.
Today, she let me do a ponytail!

When you're husband wants a GOOD burger!
Ok, the BEST burger!!

One of our Saturday morning breakfasts!

One of my favorite Sunday dinners!
Roast!  Cooked in the crockpot on Low all day.

Registration for Jr. High!
I can't believe my girl is old enough to be in Jr. High.
Sometimes I can't believe it, and other times, I know she is ready, and I'm
so excited for her to move on, and experience new things.

They let us try out the lockers, walk around, and
Bree got a couple of immunizations, she was needing.

This was the final schedule we put in the computer that night before we left.
I wonder what her real schedule will be???

I started working on an afghan.
It's still not done, but this is what it's looking like.

And then there was New Beginnings.
All the incoming Beehives were invited.
They spot lighted them, and told them a bit about Young Women's.
I think Bree had a great time and is looking forward to it!!

Time marches on, right? Bree is so grown-up. Jr. High and YW's. She will love them both. Is she at girl's camp this week? I'm so glad someone in our family can carry-on the crocheting like Grandma Perkins. The afghan you are making is beautiful.
