School Party!

Today Bree's class had a Halloween Party at school. All of the kids wore their costumes to school. And the Mom's were invited to come 30 minutes early to hear the kids sing a couple of songs and do a dance for us. Then the kids went to each Mom to Trick-or-Treat.
Here is Bree during their little program.

Miss Z! One of Bree's teachers.
And Miss Jeanna! Another of Bree's teachers.
And here is Bree with her two little friends, that just happen to be in our neighborhood and ward. They are lucky that they are all in the same school class also. Anna, Ashley, and Bree. 3 Cute little girls :)

First Snow day of 2009

A couple of days ago, we had our first Snow! It was awesome. So beautiful. The flakes were huge, and everything was white. It was so much fun! Just thought I'd share a few pics, I took. It is so refreshing, and magical. Can't wait until there is enough snow to really play outside with the girls :)

2009 Jorgensen Halloween Party

Yesterday, was our Jorgensen Family Halloween Party. We have it every year, and it's pretty fun for the kids and adults. The girls were dressed in their Angel costumes. We didn't put their wings on until later, and I had a hard time getting Elle to hold still for a picture.
I tried several times to take pictures of the girls costumes, but Elle was all over :)
I think they were such cute little Angels.
Here they are dancing in their room together.
My little Elle is just learning to color. So when she found a pencil and paper at the party, she couldn't help but go to town. Sometimes she colors with her left hand, and sometimes it's her right hand. I think she's still figuring it out.
The food is starting to arrive :) YUM!
Chris' family is so big, that we now have to hold our party in the church gym. We have well over a hundred people come. I guess that's what happens when you have 10 children.

Grandma Bump Bump (Chris' Mom) and Elle. Elle was eating all of grandma's grapes :)
They had a lot of fun things planned. A huge Prize table the length of the gym, with all kinds of treasures. A Treasure Hunt, Fish Pond, Spook Alley, and more....
Darlene, the resident Aborigine.
Bree is showing me one of her prizes.
Elle was fascinated by this light up ghost, and hung out with Cameron, one of Chris' nephews most of the night. Bree and Elle had a total blast!! We came home with many many treastures.

Bree's first Field Trip

Today Bree's Preschool Class, went on their first Field Trip. They paid a visit to the Lehi Fire Station. First they watched an episode of Sesame Street all about Fire Fighters, the Fire Station, and Fires.
Then they each had an opportunity to try on the helmet and a fire Coat. Bree was being a little shy.
We made our way out into the garage where all of the trucks were. There were 3 Fire Trucks, and two Ambulances. We got to look into each compartment, and see what was in the Fire Trucks.
Elle, just loves Men :) She went up to the Fireman that was showing us around, and sat on his lap.
Bree and a class mate sitting in the Fire Truck!
Here is Bree's Class. Her teacher, and one of the Firemen too :)
They all got a Jr. Fireman Sticker. Bree put hers, on her shirt.
Elle and I were able to tag along. Elle was all over in the Garage, and I was trying to keep her out of things, while we were learning about the Trucks. It was a really fun day. I think the girls had a lot of fun.

October and Pumpkins

Today we decided to get into the spirit of October, Fall, and Halloween. We put on some orange, and took the girls first to Gardner Village to see the Pumpkins, Witches, and all of the Halloween decorations. Afterwards, we went to pick out some pumpkins of our own to bring home.

Some of the fun Witches playing a game of baseball :)
Elle hasn't felt well the past couple of days. So the first part of the day she wasn't very happy, but as the day wore on, she started to come around.
Bree was so cute to pose for me all over the place!
I LOVE this picture. I took it from quite far off, and it just screams Halloween :)
Bree and I couldn't get Elle to sit with us, but I think this is so cute.
I just love this house built out of Pumpkins! It's super cool.
Elle and Daddy hanging out.
Now this is where the fun begins. We've gone from Gardner Village, to the 90th Street Pumpkin lot, to look for Pumpkins of our own.
They just happened to have an awesome Blow up, maze and slide. Bree went through it about a hundred times while we were looking for pumpkins!
Then Bree joined in, and found some pumpkins of her own.
Elle loved looking at all the Pumpkins, and picking her own too.
Quick Family Pic!! Hurry, before Elle starts crying, or running away again, or something :) he..he.. he.. Today was a lot of fun. I think I'm feeling Fall(ish) now for sure!

Gumdrop Pillow

Today I decided to get out my Sewing Machine and try out a pattern I had bought and been dying to try. They are called Gumdrop Pillows, by Amy Butler designs. Anyway, I made the small one, which isn't really all that small. And there is a bigger one, that is considered to be an Ottoman size. I had ordered some cute fabric of Pink and Green for the girls. I think it turned out Fabulous!! Bree helped me stuff the pillow. She was very excited for it to be done, so she could play with it. Check it out!

Chris told me that if I were to make this out of Orange Fabric, it would totally pass for a pumpkin. And you know, he's right. It would be so cool :) I'm going to have to try it!

Elliptical Update

Well, we thought we had found a good one. Come to find out, it's not so good. Chris put it together, and within about 10 minutes, it started to squeak! He called the manufactures and they told him several things to do, but to no avail. So, tomorrow we take it back! Ug! But, today, we found another, that costs about double, but it is a much better machine, and on the low end of a Commercial Machine. I think this will work out for the best. I guess you get what you pay for. I can't wait to get exercising again!!!
