Kindergarten

Here is my cute little 5 year old Bree. Ready for school. This is what she looked like on Friday, when we went to the school for her assessment testing. She was so excited!
Here she is out in front of her new Elementary School.

Monday we had gone to school together for an hour. I got to watch her in action, and then she had a tour of the school. She was very impressed with the Library, Computer Lab, and Playground :)
Tomorrow school starts for real. She's going to do so good! Elle and I are going to miss her during the day. I love you Bree!!!

East Canyon, our last summer fling....

Last weekend, we took one more summer trip up to East Canyon. School starts this week. I can't believe the summer is over.

I didn't take an a whole lot of pictures....
We didn't even do a whole lot of things....

But we sure did RELAX!!

When I got listing our daily activities, they included, Eating Breakfast, swimming, Eating Lunch, 2 hour nap, Eating dinner, girls on the playground, and Campfires every night! Hmm, not so exciting to some, but we had a great time doing as little as possible. Just enjoying each other.

Elle playing in the trailer :)
Our new Fire Pit! Chris ran to Cabella's and picked up this awesome Fire Pit, right before we left. We used it every night. It was one of my favorite activities. Camp Fires, and Smores :)
We got out the newest version of Zim Zam and the girls played and played with it. We just happened to be right by the walking path to the playground, and man, you wouldn't imagine the comments we would get as people walked by. Both on our Zim Zam, and our new Fire Pit. We were never bored, and we never ran out of people to talk to. It was a fun place to be, and I think we may have met at least half of the people staying that weekend.
Oooohhh, we can't forget the bubbles. Elle LOVES Bubbles. I know that if I just bring some bubbles along, that we've got some fun!

Chris BBQ'd some fabulous steaks! Oh, they were some of his best work :)
Yeah, I looked great :) ha..ha.. No makeup, no hair for 3 days! It was so relaxing :)
One night we were sitting by our fire, and (my brother) Dax showed up! Surprise! They were up in the Condo's for the weekend with some friends. They joined us every night for our camp fires, and a few other times.

This pic is of Dax's friend Chris and his family. Did I mention that his name is Chris Jorgenson. The only difference, it that they spell their name with an (son) and ours is (sen). Too funny.

We did go swimming Every Day! That is the only thing that Bree had to have on the schedule, and I love to swim as well.
Mom and Dad came up one day. Stayed the day, ate dinner with us, and of course enjoyed one of our marvelous Camp Fires including Smores!! :)
The girls spent most of their time at the Playground. We picked a spot right next to it, so that they could spend a lot of time there, and we could watch from our Camp Chairs beside the trailer.

Summer is over. But we have so many wonderful memories of lazy days, and Camping Bliss!

Bryce Canyon

Wow!! What can I say. I LOVE Bryce Canyon! Chris took me there for the first time when Bree was just a baby. That was 4 years ago. This weekend we made a trip back. The Campgrounds are amazing. The weather was so cool. Probably High 70's, but compared to home, it was nice and cool. Huge Pine trees that smelled so good. And you just can't forget the incredible scenery. We ate at Ruby's, bought souvenirs, took some hikes, went site seeing, had camp fires, etc..etc.. I love our trailer. Our home away from home. I think Bryce has become one of my favorite places :)

This picture cracks me up. I was standing next to Chris and then we thought the camera had done it's job, and just as I go to see....the timer is up, and it takes!! ha..ha.. I LOVE it :) I did take another.....but this one is great.
Here we are sitting in the shade, on one of our hikes.
Natural Bridge
The girls wanted to crawl up onto my bed and hang out with me, before we got up to make some breakfast :) Aren't they cute! Look at Elle's hair :)
We actually left the park, and went down into Red Canyon for the day. They have some amazing little hikes, and a cute visitor center. Neither Chris or I had done anything there before, and we were totally surprised at how much fun we could have there too!

Campfires!!!
One of the famous Hoodoos :)
We took so many great pictures. How do you decided on only a few? Well, maybe you'll see more of them on FB :)
One of Chris' favorites.

Yacht Club

Yesterday was such a fun day! My dad took us up on the boat. Just our little family. And my cute niece Kayla. He's been watching her. We had so much fun. Took some KFC for lunch, went to the beach, and for a couple of rides around the lake, ate snacks, and swam. No schedules, no agenda's, just lots of fun! I think I'll let the pictures speak for themselves :)

Bree's new Room

After a whole week, and a whole LOT of work, we finished Bree's room. Painting at 3am once....I almost went postal :) ha..ha.. Just ask Chris. After falling asleep on the floor in Bree's room, and waking up to another coat around the closet doors, I almost lost it. I just wanted to crawl in bed. But we had a deadline to meet. Aunt Camber was bringing us her old bedroom set, and I wanted to be ready for it. It's the cutest little furniture I've ever seen. Just perfect for Bree and her room. Love it!!
Complete with wall decals, and wall hangings and a cute rug.... we're just waiting for our little pink flower wall clock to come :)
Bet you can't guess what Bree's favorite color is? hmmm.. anyone? PINK!
Even though her new floor lamp is turned on and you can't see....each little lamp shade is a different shade of PINK!!
Bree's bookshelf came, and when Chris put it together, it was just as cute, or maybe even cuter in person!!
A couple of cute flower hooks, for hats, backpacks, etc...
And the curtains match her new quilt.
Oh man, I hope I don't get any ideas about Elle's room any time soon :) I need to rest.
