Bree turned 6!

Friday July 1st 2011, Bree turned 6! I've been telling her for a while, that she wasn't aloud to get any bigger. But she's been telling me for a while now, that she just can't help it. I LOVE her so much!!

Having a Birthday so close to the 4th of July, just means that we almost always celebrate it on a Camping trip. And we always tell her, that the Fireworks are for her :) Pretty cool, if you ask me.

Here she is in the trailer this weekend, in her Birthday shirt. What a beautiful girl :)

A few days before we left for East Canyon, we gave Bree her big present.....a new Bike! Littlest Petshop. The theme of her Birthday Party this year. She loves it!!
Her Party!!!

Grandpa gave her a Pink Fishing Pole, and a bag for all of her fishing gear.
The whole Belnap clan was there. Eating Cupcakes and IceCream! We had a blast.
Grandma Jorgensen made a trip up, the day before and brought Bree some fabulous presents. Happy Birthday my little one!!! Daddy and I Love you so so much :)

More Summer Fun :)

Even though we've been taking full advantage of the summer, and doing something fun almost every day, I feel like this summer is flying by so fast! Looking at the calendar, and the other 3 camping trips to come, makes me realize just how fast it's all going to happen. But we're enjoying every minute of it!

Our living room Picnics! Using the cute sun umbrella's that Grandma Bump Bump bought us at Strawberry Days, the girls were playing picnic, and having a great time :)

And now that it's finally hot enough to wear shorts pretty much everyday, we broke out the outfits that the Easter Bunny left in our baskets, along with our matching dolls :)

And why not take those dolls for a ride in our school bus?!
We also went to the park down by Layton HS. Not only do they have fantastic toys there, but a really neat walking path by this little stream, that wonders into a cute pond full of ducks and birds. We took some bread to feed to the ducks.

And who can forget the toys we got in our kids meals at Wendy's. I think these are some of the coolest ones ever!! Our airplanes :)
Oh yes, more Swimming!!! Now that it's hot, it's one of our favorite things to do :)
And on Wednesday, we went to the South Ogden Splash Pad. I took Bree there once when she was smaller, and Elle was too small to swim, so this was a big surprise! We took some sandwiches from Subway, and played in the water for a really long time. I actually had to make the girls leave. They were having the time of their lives. I'm glad it is free, so we can visit as much as we want before the summer ends. This was a big hit!! Happy Summer everyone :)

Summer in Full Swing

Summer is in full swing, and we've had an amazing week! So many fun things. I have been watching some of my nieces and nephew a couple of times a week. The girls have been loving it! Friends to play with all of the time.

Today we spent the day in Pleasant Grove with some of Chris' family at the Strawberry Days Carnival. The girls had a total blast! We bought them a wrist band, so that they could ride unlimited all day! And I'm telling you, we totally got our money's worth!! We have also been to the Ogden Eccles Dinosaur Park, the Play Land and McDonalds, the Park, Run through our little flower sprinkler, and swam with cousins, and had a little picnic on the patio :) Whew! What a week. In fact, Bree was sick yesterday. I think she has had a little too much sun this week. And her only concern, was if she would be well today, so that we could go to the Carnival.

I've posted a few of my favorite, out of the hundreds of pictures, I've taken this week. If you want to see all of them, they are on FB. I just LOVE Summer!!

Me and my Prince Charming!!
Pure Joy!! This is a BIG slide for a little girl, but that didn't stop them :)
My family! Oh how I LOVE them :)

Grandma Bump Bump, Bree, Chris, and Elle. This is Bree's FAVORITE ride!!
Running through the sprinkler...
This is about the cutest picture EVER!!!

A couple of pictures of the backyard. I think I'm living in Paradise!

Getting a drink at the Dinosaur Park :)
Finding the Dinosaur Eggs :)

Swimming in the backyard.... Nicholas, Elle, Aleigha, and Bree.
Time for some lunch! Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer too!

Warm enough to play in the water

I'm watching a couple of nieces and a nephew a couple of days a week for the summer. Sometimes it has it's challenges, but most of the time it's pretty darn good. The kids all play, and for the most part, they keep my kids busy too. And while it's good, and I have no complaints, on Friday, it was just me and the girls. I felt free. Just because I could actually leave the house :) I took the girls for some McDonalds happy meals, and we went to the Park.

It's been a great weekend so far. Haven't done much. My mom watched the girls for us on Friday night so Chris and I could go to a movie and get a bite to eat. We saw Super 8. I really liked it. I've got to say, that it made me jump a few times! Chris was holding my hand, and once, I jerked so hard, I nearly pulled my elbow out of it's socket! ha..ha.. Over all I think it kind of reminded me a little bit of "Stand by me".

My family had a combined yard sale today. I didn't have anything to sell, but I went and hung out for a little while. It was fun to chat with most of my siblings, and the girls had a chance to play with more cousins! Way to go guys! They sold tons of stuff and made a little money along the way :) Ok, they made a lot of money. And then when I got home this afternoon, Chris and I actually thought of a few things we really do want to sell. So this afternoon, we took some pictures of those items to list on KSL.

My girls were tired. But if I let them nap, they don't go to bed until late. So in order to distract them for a while, we got out their little oasis in the back yard. A little cold water to keep them awake! he..he..

Just enough water to splash around in. The girls are probably getting a bit big for it, but I think we've had this little thing for 3 years now. They still really enjoy it.
Lying in the sun to get warm :) I'm just glad it's warm enough to swim!

Summer at Last!

Friday was Bree's last day of School. I can't believe Kindergarten is over!! It went by so fast. At least it did for me. I don't want Bree to grow up anymore :) She has loved every minute of school. She can't wait to get there everyday. She had the best teacher, (Mrs. Hardy), and tons of friends :) She wanted to go to every school activity, ran the 1k by herself, and I found out that on field day, she went in the dunk tank, and she doesn't even know how to swim, or put her head under water yet. Ok, that freaked me out a little, so it's a good think I didn't know until after. She said they pulled them out really quick. I'm not even sure she actually went all the way under. Anyway, when we got to school friday, some of the mom's had camera's, and I just happened to have one that I carry in my purse. Thank goodness, or I would have missed taking these pictures of some of her class mates and Bree before they went in their class room for the last time this year. So cute!!

When I went to pick her up, the whole school was outside saying the pledge to the flag and taking it down for the last time. I have to say, I was holding back the tears. But when we got home, I lost it. Well, when Bree asked me to read a note I had written to her in her "All about me, Bree Jorgensen", Kindergarten year book, I let it all out. My baby is growing up, and I am so proud of her!!

Her elementary school printed actual Year Books. I'm telling you, this book is better than my Jr. High Year Book! Super glad I ordered one for her :) It's only going to happen once in her life right?! So she has a couple of books to remember her Kindergarten year by. All I can say is Yea Bree!!!! I Love you more than you know. I am so proud of you! And it's summer at last :)

East Canyon

We just spent a 4 day weekend at East Canyon. We left right after picking Bree up from her last day of Kindergarten. There are so many pics, but I'm only posting a few choice ones. Maybe you'll see the others on FB? I feel like Summer has just now begun :)

Roasting Hot Dogs over the fire :) I LOVE Camping!
We went on some walks. The girls rode their bikes along. Elle has just started wanting Bree's bike. She doesn't really want to ride her own. It's a good thing big sister is getting a new bigger bike for her birthday in a month! No more fighting over this little bike!!

Ode to the PARK! One of our favorite places....

The girls were really excited about this wagon ride. Elle especially had a blast!
This is the cutest face!! I just love this little softy :)
Bree earned this Chocolate Bar, by putting her head all the way under water for the first time. I know, we really need to get ourselves into Swimming lessons, but it's a start!
Mini Golf! It was the girls first time. And I actually got a hole in one!! Total luck!

I got a really cute little camera from Pottery Barn kids. It has a waterproof case so my entire camera can go under water. It was awesome being able to take it in the pool and not worry about if it was going to get wet! And yeah, I took a few under water shots. They turned out great.
Yeah Summer!! I hope there are a lot more weekends like this one!
