Oh how I love the snow! I remember playing outside for hours and hours when I was little, even after everyone else went in. Elle got the cutest Christmas Present from her cousin. A Snowman kit, shovel, and sled. While Elle was napping, Bree and Daddy used the Snowman kit to make this adorable little guy. We saved all the stuff, so that Elle can join in the fun next time too!

Christmas 2010
I am always amazed around Christmas time. All of the wonderful music, lights, and festivities. The MAGIC in the air. Our girls have been so much fun this year. So excited for Santa, and the thought of presents under the tree.
On the 23rd, we took the girls down to the Layton park to see the lights. It's a lot like Thanksgiving Point, but on a much smaller scale. I didn't even know it was there, except that my sister-in-law just happened to be down there a couple of days before. It was free, so we drove through the lights 4 times, and walked through them twice. Only because the first time, Elle was alseep in the car, and as we were driving away, she woke up, so we turned around, went back, and did it again :) Totally worth it though. She loved it!! But before we went to the lights, we loaded up plates of goodies, and took them to the neighbors. I think we actually came home with more goodies than we gave out! We live in such a wonderful place :)
For only the 2nd time since we've been married, we spent Christmas Eve at home and didn't travel to any ones house. It was a blast! Chris and I made a full on Thanksgiving dinner! My first Turkey. It turned out so good. Home made rolls, and the works! It was a lot of work, but I love those turkey sandwich left overs!!
Our stockings...
We decided not to buy a tree this year. We had to sell our 9 foot tree because it wouldn't fit in our new house. And I think I have Chris talked into a real tree for next year. So we just used a couple of small trees I have around the house. It was a bit of a let down, but something to look forward to next year.
The girls favorite things this year were....their Scooters, Barbie Electric Guitars, and Pillow Pets. They got so much stuff, that we'll be playing and experimenting for a while :)
My parents surprised us with a Wii. And Wii Fit Plus! Yeah!!! I'm so excited. I can't wait to go bowling :) ha..ha.. And to top it all off, it snowed today. The world is white again. Even if it is a day late. I'm loving it! Merry Christmas to all!

A special Day
Yesterday was fantastic! I was able to go to the Salt Lake Temple and see my Aunt and Uncle be sealed together, along with 4 of their 5 children! It's been a long time coming, and I'm so excited for them! It was very emotional. You could see how much it meant to each and every one of them. The love they have for each other. It was a Special Day!

Mo Tab Christmas Concert & Temple Square
Tonight was amazing!!! We spent the evening with my brother and sister-in-law at the Mormon Tabernacle Choir Christmas Concert, and then walked through the lights at Temple Square. After a yummy dinner at Olive Garden :)
I didn't get tickets myself. Only one person in our family did. My sister-in-law Adelle. She and her sister Jen had made a pact, that if one of them got tickets, they would take the other. But when Adelle found out how much I wanted to go, she called her sister to see if it would be okay to take Chris and I instead. Wow!! I just want to thank Adelle, for being so wonderful, and Jen for being so wonderful, and giving up your seats! You're both amazing, giving people :)
David Archuletta was singing with the Choir tonight, and oh man, he was amazing! After one of his songs, Chris said to me, "Lets rewind, and here that one again." We also loved Michael York, who narrated a couple of really wonderful stories. His voice was so unique. One was the story of how the Tabernacle Choir came into existence. The original members came over from Whales. Which is really cool, because my mom's ancestors are from Whales, and so they are my ancestors too.
I think I found my Christmas Spirit!!! I've posted just a few of my favorite pictures from the night.

Ogden's Christmas Village
Last night we walked through Christmas Village with my family. Santa was there in his little Castle, and there were so many lights!! Afterward, we went to my sister's for snacks, a program, and some more fun. It was a late night.....late, because we were all having so much fun!

Chris' Birthday
Chris' birthday is on Sunday the 12th! But today we celebrated. Not the usual guy birthday, but when you live in a house full of girls, this is what the day looks like :)
First we went to the movies. We saw Tangled! It was way better than I thought it would be! Chris even loved it. I highly recommend seeing it if you haven't!
Next, we headed to the Mall. We were going to see Santa and tell him what we wanted for Christmas. As you can see, the girls were nervous. I wasn't even sure if it would happen. And our picture with Santa, says it all. But it's all about the memories right? And Bree did end up having a long conversation with Santa, and telling him exactly what she wanted for Christmas! It was priceless!
After santa, we headed to the Mall Playground, for a little fun! Saturday, December 4, 2010
