Happy New Year!

This is probably the quietest New Years Eve I've ever spent.  Tonight the girls are asleep in their beds, and Chris and I are just working on a puzzle, snacking, and waiting for the Ball to drop oh, I guess in a little over 15 minutes.

But earlier today, Chris and I took Bree to Soldier Hollow, where they held some of the Cross Country Ski, and other events at the 2002 Olympics.  My family was lucky enough to go to some of the Olympic events one day at Soldier Hollow during the Olympics.  It was pretty cool to see it in person.  They have a really awesome Tubing Park now.  So for New Years Eve afternoon, we went tubing.  Bree just loved it.  Every time we got to the bottom, she begged to go back again, and again.

Chris and Bree were picking out the perfect tubes for us :)

Riding up the tow rope.  At least we don't have to climb the mountain every time.

Chris and Bree coming down.  I went first, so I could try and get a picture of them coming down.

Riding down!  Snow would fly into our faces, because we were going pretty fast.  It didn't seem to bother Bree any, she just kept asking for more.

Wow, the 2 hours went by fast, but I think we've had enough :)
Daddy carrying Bree back to the car.  I lOVE pictures like this!!
Happy New Years everyone!!

Calling :)

Next week, Bree goes into Primary....she'll be a Sunbeam!  Chris and I were asked to stay after Church and talk to a member of the Bishopric.  Well, we now have new callings.  Chris and I will teach the new Sunbeam Class as team teachers this year.

Bree has a very hard time leaving us.  Every week, they take her from us, kicking and screaming, but then about 2 minutes later, she's just fine and loves playing in the nursery. Well, I was a little worried about how she would do in Primary.  I guess I know now!!  She'll be just fine.  Looks like, Mommy, Daddy, Elle, and Bree will be attending the Sunbeam class.  That is, until July, when Elle is old enough to go to the Nursery :)

The last time I taught the Sunbeams in our ward, was 4 years ago when we first moved in.  I got pregnant with Bree, didn't feel well, and had three kids that always cried and freaked out.  A teacher that never showed up to help.  It was a very hard thing for me.  I also didn't yet have children of my own, so I didn't really know what I was doing.  When I think back at the last experience, I want to cringe!!  It's going to be a full class, of about 8 children.  Very active children.  I know a lot of them, and it won't be easy, but I can do anything if Chris is there helping me.  And I think I have a little more experience now :)

So Yeah, new Calling!

Merry Christmas!!

Happy Holidays everyone.  Bree wanted me to take a picture of her making Snow Angels out in the Driveway while she was outside with her Daddy shoveling snow.
Chris' mom's house on Christmas Eve.  We went over there for a family party.  Food, program, and gift exchange.

The girls playing with their presents on Christmas morning!

Look Mommy, Two Princesses :)
A Princess Castle, for our Princess!
We're ready to drive up to Grandma Belnap's in Ogden.  We got some matching dresses from Santa :)

Bree on her new Princess Bike.  We LOVE Princess everything!!
And today, the day after Christmas, it's time to play outside in the new sled Santa brought.  It's big enough for Bree and Elle!

San Francisco

So at Chris' work, they are the only Branch/Office in Utah.  His Company is based out of California.  The Company, decided to send everyone at the Utah office, to San Francisco overnight for the work Christmas Party!  They paid everyones Air fair, and Hotel and this included spouses too.   The first thing we saw on our way from the Airport to the Hotel, was a Hotel called the UTAH :)

This is one of the old cars we rode from our Hotel to Pier 39 and Fisherman's Warf.
A Huge Tree decorated for Christmas and the first thing you see at Pier 39!

We found the best Italian Restaurant on Pier 39, up on the second deck, overlooking the Bay, and the City.  We sat right by the window and had the most amazing views while eating our lunch.

Chris with Alcatraz Island behind him.
Alcatraz!!

Fisherman's Warf :)

The Golden Gate Bridge.  As we were waiting in line to ride a Cable Car back to the Hotel, we had great views of the bridge.
Riding the Cable Car.  Here comes another one towards us too.  We're going up, and they are coming down.
Top of Lombard Street.  The curviest street in the world.  Wish you could have seen it from the bottom, but we decided not to get off the Cable Car.  We had a Christmas party to get to.
Another Cable Car passing by, as we walk the 4 blocks to the Hotel.
Chris and I all dressed up at the Party.  It was very fancy.  An hour of Pre-dinner delights, snacks and music, followed by a three course dinner, and then desert, dancing and prizes.  Chris won an Ipod Shuffle :)
This Tree and Courtyard, were right across the street from our Hotel.  The Omni San Francisco. We could also see this from our Room on the 12th floor.  Very Posh!!
A view from up the street too.
It was a great little get away.  We missed the girls, and bought them tons of stuff!  Thanks MOM for watching the girls, and cleaning my Microwave :)  The trip was awesome, but it's hard to leave my little ones so close to Christmas!  I'm glad we're home, and Christmas is in three days!  Can't wait!!
